Is Beta for Classic games optional?

I can't figure out how to view Classic games in the non-Beta style.
Is it possible? And if so, how?

Go to account, then settings and then change the default UI to drop-down.

That had no effect. I think there was an option on that all-encompassing fountain pen beta menu, but I can no longer see that as my beta menu is stuck permanently at the global chat screen now (as the top, where the options are, is permanently off the top of my screen).

I found a way to get the menu visible again and, yes, there is an option under "Info" that lets you switch back to the "Legacy Board".

Were you following a link that leads you directly to beta board? That will bypass any preferences.
I forgot, they did add the legacy board functionality to the beta screen, I'll have to remember to recommend that next time.
