Live game settings

Hi all,

I've noticed that some games are set to start at a specific time, even once they're full, but I can't see the setting for how to do this when you're creating a game?

Likewise, is there a setting to fill empty spaces in the game with bots when it starts, that I also can't find?

I was trying to create a live (5-minute phases) gunboat game that will start at s specific time, even with fewer than seven players, with empty spots filled with bots. Is it possible?

The start time of the game is based off of your current time, plus the time you pick under "Time to Fill Game".

The fill with bots option only appears as a box to check once you have chosen "No Messaging".

To follow up on this:
Live games will start at the start time regardless of when they fill up. Games with longer phases will begin as soon as they fill up. There isn't a setting for this, it's based on phase lengths. We've designed it so that in live games you don't get taken off guard, but with longer phases you don't have to sit around waiting unnecessarily.
To create games with bots the game must be classic and gunboat and then that check box pops up as emc said.

Great, thanks for the explanations.

What is the maximum phase length for it to be "live", and what is "normal"?

Maximum phase length for live is 30min/phase. Don't join games with that length though..

Normal is 5min/phase for Gunboat (no press) and 7 or 10min/phase for (Full) Press.
