Move from North Africa to Spain?

Hi there. Noob question. Is it possible for a land unit to move from North Africa to Spain without a convoy?

That's a really good question, because it's not obvious from the map.

It is however NOT possible to do so. Even a fleet can't move to Spain from North Africa or vice versa. They are not adjacent.

EDIT: It's an even better question than I thought, as I can't find it in the rules either. Trust me though, I've tried..

Great, thanks a lot for the clarification! And I'm glad it's not such a stupid question I have a fleet in Spain and don't see an option to move to North Africa, but I just wanted to double check with respect to the enemy unit staring at me from North Africa. Good to get that clarified. Thanks a lot!
