Why don't points add up?

Why don't points add up?

Please can someone explain to me why the points in play plus points available don't always add up?

Here's an extreme (real life) example...

Available: 2
in play: 5
Total: 1,052

It doesn't show points in play in anonymous games

You know I was kinda wondering about this myself. My page reflects 60 points currently in Play, but I have no active games?
