Huzzah! Will there be threats of severe punishment for bringing the system into disrepute? It won't be the same if not

Joy!
Hooray for Omnipotent Zultar and Almost Omniscient Kestas & the Almighty Mods
I was looking in our Bwave New Forum with More Decorum for a place to congratulate the person responsible for attempting to civilised the lumpenproloteriat with a Dose of Latin.
The wretched script correcting software set for English is fiendish when typing Latin

Thank you dargorygel for the superb Latin
Loved the observation about banning catapults
I've been busy organising what I an calling Sunmer Beach Busking" activities at the Investigator Bay Beach in Hayborough, Victor Harbor, South Australia
For three weekends in January
First & second and last weekends
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th January
Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January
And Australia Day Long weekend
Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th Australia Day and the public holiday Monday 27th January
In the last three years I have formed a friendship with Kym Mackenzie who is now 63yo and is retiring this coming week after working for 45 years at Bedford Industries on Adelaide.
Kym Mackenzie is slightly intellectually disabled and physically disabled and will receive an Australian Federal Government disability pension.
He rents an apartment in Adelaide.
Bedford Industries is a mix of rehabilitation services, training and employment for disabled people, albeit on lower wages than skilled tradespeople
Kym Mackenzie is a well known performing artistin Adelaide, as an actor and comedian.
We have in the last year formed an artistic partnership and intend to commit to that in 2025 in a big way.
We have had buskers permits in Adelaide, I've had a buskers permit from the local council for about three years but have not done very much Busking in Victor Harbor at all.
The 2023 Viking Festival.in Victor Harbor
However Kym Mackenzie and I have both recently applied for buskers permits from the City of Victor Harbor Council for january with a list of locations that have been approved.
We both have applications for buskers permits lodged with the Alexandrina Council for two Beach locations within their area, Horseshoe Bay Port Elliot and Chiton Rocks beach.
Investigator Bay Beach is closest to my home and we have approval to use the lawn and beach~so that's our primary location we will use.for the first two weekends.
I have to produce and fund our operations for most of 2025
Kym Mackenzie is a co director & I always discuss producer level decisions with him to get his consent.
Kym is going to save a set amount each fortnight in January, February and March to give us money to spend in April.
Both our birthdays are in April and next April on my birthday I become eligible to receive the old age pension ~Hooray!
We plan to go to Melbourne for the first ~15 days of April, leave Melbourne on Thursday 17th~ the day before Good Friday and the Easter long weekend and drive to Portland to spend a week there, then drive home.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is on in the last week of March and most of April, ends at Easter (I think)
I want to drive with a trailer with my Dashing Ducati Supersport and go to the Phillip Island racing circuit.
It's probable that I will have TWO DASHING DUCATI SUPERSPORT MOTORCYCLES in April next year....
Our beach busking activities will include:
Open mic stand-up comedy shows
Beach cricket, bodyboard surfing competitions for grommets, kite flying, sand castle building competitions for kids
I have been buying kit marquees and will buy more.
On Wednesday 4th December I went to an appointment in Adelaide with a share broker to arrange the sale of 3,477 of my 4,177 Argo shares currently trading about $Aus 9 each which will raise about $Aus 30,000
I am expecting the money by the end of the coming week that ends on Friday 20th December, if not a few days sooner.
There are also two unpaid dividends for 3,477 of my Argo shares that I am also chasing after letting the matter lie dormant.
The two unpaid dividends amount to a bit over $Aus 1,200 so that will be useful money, when it is paid into my bank account
I posted the form that a company called The Boardroom in Sydney sent me to on Tuesday morning in Victor hbr, they definitely should have received it by Friday
I will check my bank account over this weekend.
Expect to be making telephone calls on Monday morning to the share broker, his estimate on Thursday 5th December was "within a fortnight" and that fortnight ends on Thursday 19th December.
Plus a telephone call to The Boardroom in Sydney
Fun
I had a trip to Adelaide in my old station wagon on Monday night, borrowed $100 cash from a pal.
Second trip Wednesday, to take Kym Mackenzie back to Adelaide, he travelled to Victor Harbor by public transport in the morning and I drove him to the two council offices then back to his home in Adelaide, got him there about 1.45pm.
Then I did a few things, drove home that night.
Thursday and Friday, stayed home, have to stay home waiting.
And "doing some useful work about the place".
What I could use as a Christmas present from the Almighty Mods is one excused turn in the one Webdiplomacy game I am playing currently, it was an abandoned country in a game with excused turns...
But when a Chap takes on these abandoned countries in poor state there is no excused turn for them.....
And given my record ...
I've been very good with my orders in this particular game.
If you look at it...
You might appreciate the significance of granting thus request just once.
Have a safe, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

My 5th grade teacher was kind (though at the time idt any of us appreciated it) enough to have taught us a bit, all I remember though was this joke (it helped vaguely when I learned spanish, but that's about it lol)

Biggest mistake (?) in history of this site is the Christmas lottery.
