Mod Team Announcement

[Hellenic Riot]

After many years (some no doubt view it as too many), it is finally time for me to retire from the Mod Team. I've served alongside a great many people, and been honoured to work alongside so many others dedicated to this website. Putting your time and soul into the place is rather a draining activity, however, and now I have put this off for long enough. I am glad to be leaving behind a strong mod team in a stable place (Theresa May would no doubt be proud of that line), and I wish them all good luck moving forward.

I've been on this site for eight years this month, and spent nearly half of that as a moderator. Fun though the game is, none of that could've happened without a community to keep me here, so thank you to all of you for keeping the place entertaining for so long in your various manners. I will of course continue to float around the place, running the Champions Leagues, and probably floating around Mafia and the occasional Diplomacy game, so I don't intend to leave the place entirely just yet (sorry to disappoint!). I look forward to besting some of you in games, continually losing to xorxes in 1v1's, and all the other daily occurrences that make this site home.

There goes the last of the mods I worked with. Man, it's a sign of getting old. Thanks for helping out for so long, HR. It takes a certain madness to do it for as long as you did.
