Sef Defense Mafia

10 Town vs 3 Mafia

All players are vanilla (no powers).

All town are equipped with a 1-time use Phaser. During any night, they may privately message the GMs (me and my number one, Chaqa) that they'd like to activate it that night. If the target of the nightkill has their phaser activated, then the mafia assassin dies as well (to be clear: there will be 2 deaths that night, the mafia assassin and their target).

The mafia team NEED NOT choose to execute a night kill (unless we enter endgame where neither team chooses to kill anyone in successive phases), but if they do kill someone at night, they MUST choose a member of their team to be the assassin.

Role PMs:

You are a member of the TOWN. Each day, you must vote for a suspect or for no-kill. You have a phaser; during ONE (1) night, you may choose to activate your phaser. If you are the mafia's target for a kill that night, you will kill your assassin (but you will also die). You win when all the Mafia are eliminated or nothing can stop this from happening.

You are a member of the MAFIA. Each day, you must vote for a suspect or for no-kill. At night, you may talk to your Team Mates in a secret chatroom at [link]. The mafia team is composed of [player], [player] and [player]. You win when all the Town are eliminated or nothing can stop this from happening.

Captain's Log, Star Date 45019.8:

Commander Riker and I have returned to an Enterprise at war with itself. It appears that the crew have split into two factions fighting for control of the ship.

We don't yet know what precipitated this surprising behavior, but both sides have tried to recruit us. Commander Riker and I have managed to use this for enough good will from both sides to navigate from the shuttle bay to the bridge and barricade ourselves inside.

Unfortunately, our external communication has been disabled. So it will be up to us to resolve the situation before we can call for assistance.
