Free guess: Puss in Boots.
Der gestiefelte Kater.. pretty solid guess. I didn't know this character was that old (also always forget Dreamworks is NOT Disney)

Is this character based on a non-human animal that exists on earth?
Conditional: If yes, Is that animal capable of flight?
Conditional guess: If yes to both, free guess: Count Dracula
That's three questions in a row, which is not allowed.

Yes and no to your first two questions. See the comment about three-in-a-row for future reference.

It feels...kinda selfish or whiney to harp on this again, but man, I'm probably never going to get one of these right, last answer I felt like I actually had a shot at guessing was the lettuce a couple rounds back.

Well, hey, you know this is a rabbit - something that likes lettuce?

Yay! Dr Fidelis, I’m in the same boat. But I’m just happy to contribute with some reasonable questions and learn about some new things. I don’t recognize half the list of characters we’ve assembled, but it’s nice being involved in a community of thinkers and fellow nerds
