yep, called it. Zheng Yi Sao, chinese 'pirate queen' is correct. Also the inspiration behind Mistress Ching from pirates of the Caribbean.
I thought it'd take longer, but that age question hit the nail on the head... as for the passed military question: she commanded a large pirate fleet, which could certainly be considered a military power. as for choosing a pirate, I had to at some point lol.

Yeah, at some point, our ideas are going to start overlapping. I definitely had thought about picking a pirate for some round in honour of KOTP, and Zheng Yi Sao was previously under consideration by me. The weird thing is that female pirates have been on my mind recently because of events in my offline life.
