I think that I would prefer to handle this by not counting this as a question, but offering a bit of commentary.

First, none of the persons are best known for having something named after them (in the way that Zuo Zongtang is, at least in the USA, best known as the namesake of a chicken dish).

Free (unsurprising) hint: at least one of the real persons is dead, and at least one of the real persons is alive.

For at least one of the one or more dead persons, the person has had the usual honors of having random things named after them (bridges, medals, that kind of stuff - maybe not those literal examples, but that kind of stuff).

There is a mildly famous person who has adopted a stage name after one of the persons. However, I would say that this person is not as famous as the actual person you are trying to guess.

By the way, guessers should not feel obliged to ask questions about all seven persons simultaneously. If you have a really good question to ask that just applies to one person, ask it!

A: Yes.

A couple of minor clarifications on the "political or military figure?" question. None of the persons are best known for this. At least one had incidental military service.

Both person A and person F expressed views relating to politics and/or the military.
