I found Stephen Daldry and Steven Moffat, but I can't find evidence that either of them are US citizens so I assume they're not (so I'm not guessing them). I wonder if maybe this is an actor who is better known for something else.

I have found someone who fits all of the criteria, I think (born in the appropriate age range, won at least 2 Emmys, born in a state won by Nixon, etc.): but the catch is that he is clearly an actor. I can't figure out why that question would have been passed (unless it is something like he is no longer actively acting). Any thoughts?
