Yes. For a portion of history prior to 1900, this guy was alive.
No. His death occurred on 1 January 1800 or later.
We can thus infer that he was either born in the 1800's; or born in the 1700's and died in the 1800's (barring a life over 100 yrs).

I want to narrow this down: Born in the 1800's?

famous for political endeavors?
He had some endeavors related to politics, but that's not what he's primarily famous for.

For the record, I'm interpreting that as 1800 to 1899, which is clearly the intent based on the context of that post.

So, after 8 questions:-

Real white man born in the 1800s (not in Aleutian islands), had political endeavours though not why he is primarily known and is in the opinion of the GM more famous than Donald Knuth.

First language English?

I think it's bad for you, because you still have the entire rest of the world left aside from the Aleutian Islands, but you are making progress.

Well, I doubt North America, Australia, Africa, Asia.

Is this person more famous than Donald Fucking Knouth?
Is this an actual question?
I've no idea.

Donald Knuth is not famous and I object to the result of the last game.
As someone who has little to no knowledge of computers I have heard of Donald Knuth enough to recognize the name. I’d say he’s fair game.

1,2,3,9. Real male dead white human man born somewhere other than the present-day countries of Spain, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, or Italy, or the Aleutian Islands.
4,5,7. Born during 1800-1899.
6. Had some politics-related endeavors, but more famous for other things.
8. First language not English.

Free hint: More famous than Donald Knuth, according to the QM.

Nine questions in. I count seven questions by the time that damo said there were eight, so let me know if I missed one. I'm not counting Jamie's question or damo's question that was re-asked by cdngooner.

I counted cdngooner's re-ask of my q hence the discrepancy. Good job you didn't count it as we had a subsequent quasi-waste.

I assume you mean a location that would later be part of a Warsaw Pact nation (regardless of what country it was part of at the time of his birth).

Yes.

Aha, born in the area of the Warsaw Pact but not in present-day Germany.
