Rules

Standard rules apply.

Scheduling

All deadlines are at 10pm GMT, which is 5pm EST, which is also 2pm PST.

Hammering (voting ##END to end the day early) is permitted, but everyone must cease posting once they realize a hammer has occurred, and must remain quiet until the GMs resolve the phase. See the rules doc for more info on how a Hammer is triggered.

Setup

This is a SEMI-OPEN setup, a modified version of Stack the Deck from MafiaWiki - https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?ti ... k_the_Deck. This game will have a 24 hour pre-game phase for mafia to do their "thing".

During pre-game, all town players will be notified that they are vanilla town. The mafia players will receive their role PMs at the same time. The mafia goons have 24 hours to select which (if any) of the modifications they want to their team. A maximum of three modifications may be selected from the below list:

• 1-Shot Faction Janitor
• Role Cop*
• JOAT* (1 shot Strongman, 1 shot Ninja, 1 shot Drive)
• Scumchat Daytalk (passive ability)
• Recruit Traitor as Mafia Goon

*If these are chosen, a goon will be turned into this role instead of staying as a goon.

For each modification that is selected by the mafia, town gains an additional power role as well. The town has one power role to start, resulting in a maximum of four town power roles randomly selected from the following:

• Vanilla Cop
• Roleblocker
• Tracker
• Bodyguard
• 1-Shot Vigilante

Random town players will receive an updated PM at game start to indicate if they have been modified to a power role. No Power Role will be in play more than once.

Game Roles:

Initial roles prior to mafia team choices.

• 10 Vanilla Towns**
• 2 Mafia Goons
• 1 Mafia Traitor

**A number between 1 or 4 VTs will receive updated PMs once game starts if they were the lucky ones to get a PR role.

TOWN ROLE PMs

VANILLA TOWN
You are a VANILLA TOWN. Each day you must vote for a suspect. You win when all of the Mafia have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

VANILLA COP
You have been changed from a VANILLA TOWN to the VANILLA COP! Each day you must vote for a suspect. Each night, you may visit a player by PM-ing both GMs with the order ##FLAVOR? <NAME>. At the end of the night, you will learn if your target was "Vanilla" (the only vanilla role is the Vanilla Town role) or "Not Vanilla" (all other roles not Vanilla Town). You win when all of the Mafia have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

ROLEBLOCKER
You have been changed from a VANILLA TOWN to the ROLEBLOCKER! Each night, you may visit a player by PM-ing both GMs with the order ##RB <NAME>. All actions performed by the player you target will fail, including the mafia night kill if your target is performing it. You win when all of the Mafia have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

TRACKER
You have been changed from a VANILLA TOWN to the TRACKER! Each night, you may visit a player by PM-ing both GMs with the order ##TRACK <NAME>. At the end of the night, you will learn if your target performed an action and who they performed it on. You win when all of the Mafia have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

BODYGUARD
You have been changed from a VANILLA TOWN to the BODYGUARD! Each night, you may visit a player by PM-ing both GMs with the order ##GUARD <NAME>. If your target is the target of any killing action, you will protect them and die in their place EXCEPT if the kill was modified with a Strongman action (in which case you will live and your target will die). You win when all of the Mafia have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

ONE-SHOT VIGILANTE
You have been changed from a VANILLA TOWN to the ONE-SHOT VIGILANTE! At any point in the game, you may use your one shot to kill a player by PM-ing both GMs with the order ##SHOOT <NAME>. If you submit this order during the day, the kill will be processed ASAP by either GM. If you submit this order during the night, your kill will be processed at the end of the night phase. Important interactions for night phase kills: If you are roleblocked, your shot will not be wasted and you can attempt to submit it again in another phase. If your target is the target of the Bodyguard (as well as you shooting them) and you were not role blocked, your shot will be wasted and the target will not die due to the bodyguard's save action.

MAFIA ROLE PMs

MAFIA GOON
You are a MAFIA GOON. Each day you must vote for a suspect. During the pre-game phase, you will need to discuss your team picks in the mafia discord, where your team-mates' identity will be revealed. Your teams powers are dependent on your choices made during this pre-game phase.

You win when all of the Town have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

MAFIA TRAITOR
You are the MAFIA TRAITOR. Each day you must vote for a suspect. Your teammates are [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]. They do not know who you are. You do not have access to the mafia discord unless the team votes to turn you into a goon or both of your teammates die before you do. You win when all of the Town have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

2. Please do not utilize your forum profile picture as a use of communication or signaling during this game. Anyone being caught doing so will be subject to automatic mod-kill and (hopefully) further punishment in future games.

In a quiet dressing room in Studio 33 at Television City Studios, an old and decrepit Bob Barker sits in his chair, a cigarette burning in an ash tray. He looks at his reflection in the mirror as the staff prepare the copious amounts of makeup and hair product in order to make him presentable for his final taping of the show. He cannot help himself but have a sense of dread and sadness at finally hanging up the microphone after 35 years of hosting The Price is Right.

Outside the dressing room, the sounds of high heeled shoes echo in the hall as the showcase girls begin to head to the stage. Bob sighs as he reflects on all the different models he's worked with over the years, remembering the good and the bad times.

A sharp knock echos from the door, breaking Bob's thoughts, as a producer peeks his head in.

"It's time Mr. Barker. Everyone is ready for you." The producer slowly opens the door as the dressing crew starts to exit out.

Bob leans over and picks up the cigarette, taking one sharp pull of it before snuffing it out in the ash tray. He takes one final look and makes sure his tie is on just right before turning around and facing the producer.

"Let's just get this over with..." Bob sighs as he starts walking to the door, grabbing his microphone on the way.

This is known issue - Darg cannot fix it at this time. Between him and Chaqa it'll most likely get addressed.

Google tells me he is some kind of wrinkled American game-show host.

In the UK we had Leslie Crowther and then Bruce Forsyth instead.

Howdy all! So are we just waiting for somebody to die? Is it the day right now? What type of town do we live in? A nice country village, big city, campground, etc? I imagine if we are dealing with some mafia goons then we are probably in the big city.

Also, I seem to have a delete button and an edit button (though only for a limited time). Is this new?
