MAFIA 79 - THE PRICE IS RIGHT - SETUP INFORMATION

This is a SEMI-OPEN setup, a modified version of Stack the Deck from MafiaWiki - https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?ti ... k_the_Deck. This game will have a 24 hour pre-game phase for mafia to do their "thing".

This game is setup for 12 players, but can be expanded for more. The initial roles are the following:

• 9 Vanilla Towns
• 2 Mafia Goons
• 1 Mafia Traitor

During pre-game, all town players will be notified that they are vanilla town. The mafia players will receive their role PMs at the same time. The mafia goons have 24 hours to select which (if any) of the modifications they want to their team. A maximum of three modifications may be selected from the below list:

• 1-Shot Faction Janitor
• Role Cop*
• JOAT* (1 shot Strongman, 1 shot Ninja, 1 shot Drive)
• Daytalk (passive ability)
• Recruit Traitor as Mafia Goon

* If these are chosen, a goon will be turned into this role instead of staying as a goon.

For each modification that is selected by the mafia, town gains an additional power role as well. The town has one role to start, resulting in a maximum of four town roles randomly selected from the following:

• Vanilla Cop
• Roleblocker
• Tracker
• Bodyguard
• 1-Shot Vigilante

Random town player will receive an updated PM at game start to indicate if they have been modified to a power role. No Power Role will be in play more than once.

Game will start with Day One as is the usual custom here on webDip.

Aiming to Launch on Monday @ April 3rd at 10pm GMT, which is 5pm EST, which is also 2pm PST.

Some items to mention now:

1. Vanilla Cop reports out "[Player name] is Vanilla" or "[Player name] is Not Vanilla". Only the Vanilla Town role is Vanilla. All other roles are Not Vanilla.
2. The Strongman from the Mafia JOAT will bypass the protection of the bodyguard. If used, the Bodyguard will not die but their protection target will.
3. The Drive Action will have the user visit both people they target. Think of it as they pick up one guy, drop him off at the other, and take the other to the original guy.
4. From the above, If the tracker watches the Mafia JOAT using the drive action, they will see them visit both players.
5. If the Tracker targets someone who is driven, they will get a report that the person went to the other person in the drive.
6. The Town Roleblocker can stop the NK action. Mafia must distinguish a person to perform the NK action.

If a VT is randomly allocated a power role of VT and this remains a a VT eo they still get a message they were randomly allocated a power role?

Mafia traitor is just a mafia member that doesn't know their teammates and doesn't have access to the mafia chat.

Mafia traitor is just a mafia member that doesn't know their teammates and doesn't have access to the mafia chat.

Correction - Traitor knows, team doesn’t. Still no access to discord

Other thing of note: If the Mafia Traitor is the last scum alive, they will be given discord access for the rest of the game.
