Town will have the Doctor, Cop, and One-Shot Vig

Scum will have GF and a faction RB.

Doctor is a night time save (from any attempted elimination). This is like what you're familiar with, but can be done every night. Usually (but I don't know in this game) there are restrictions on whether the doctor can save the same person on repeated nights. Usually (but I don't know in this game) the saved player will be told they are saved ONLY if they were also targeted for elimination.

The Cop is an investigator. This game can investigate every night...so if they stay alive a while can learn a lot.

The Vig(ilante) has a gun and can eliminate 1 player, day or night. If at night, player can be saved by doctor. If at day, it happens instantly (well...as soon as GMs see that the Vigilante wants to do so.

GF = God Father. Returns a false read to the Cop (scans as Town even though they are scum).

The faction RB means that the Scum Team has a RoleBlock at night that isn't linked to a player (so they can't lose it). Roleblocking means that the person's attempt to use their power is thwarted. So if the scum team knows who the doctor or cop are, they can lock them out of their powers.

Also, the house rules are that ANYONE is told that they were the target of a roleblock regardless of if they attempted to use powers or not (or if they had powers).

##CALL GM: can you confirm the 3 "usually" statements I made (doctor repeated targets, target of save being told if and only if save was needed, all players being told if they were roleblocked)

now when some dude explains what these roles do, some other dude will refer back to the signup thread where you asked and now if you ever claim you didnt realize some minute detail theyll say youre scum and even if youre clearly town theyll go ahead and do some really stupid shit and rally a bunch of really stupid people to kill you because they will claim you scum-slipped by lying about it.

its better to just know nothing and say dumb things accidentally and then theyll claim youre town because you shouldnt know what the roles are
