Is our man's country's primary language Spanish?
No.

Hmm, maybe he was kind of a military man or rebel, with the 'political state' of his nation during his life ... I'm just not sure if I should ask that question since my last hunch was totally wrong ... but you live only once (except when you play a lot of mafia) (or computer games):

"Was he primarily a military man, military leader, rebel, political reformer and/or political leader involved in the political state of his (and maybe neighbouring) country(/ies)?"
Yes— but since question eleven was a no, your free guess is returned to you.

I think the vague hinty about country of origin is important... it makes me think of something like Serbia, or the Czech Republic... a map-changing place.
I could cite the examples of Holy Roman Empire- Germany, or Three Kingdoms China… both of which have been discounted.

If I were you I’d be slightly worried about that four-century time range. It’s not like he lived that long, you know.

No.
As to the best of my knowledge I am not aware of Marshal Tito dying before 1940 (per question #9), I’ll let you have another free guess.

1. real
2. male
3. non-english native language
4. unknown to wikipedia for him speaking a second (or more) language(s)
5. dead
6. born AFTER 1st of January 1500 AD/CE
7. From a country forming the League of Nations in 1920*
8. Not (primarily?) described as entertainer (might fit depending on interpretation)
9. Died before 1st of January 1940 AD/CE
10. NOT from Suriname, the Lesser Antilles, Malta, Cyprus, Africa or Asia (excluding China, Japan, Siam/Thailand, Persia/Iran)
11. non-spanish native language
12. Primarily a military man, military leader, rebel, political reformer and/or political leader involved in the political state of his (and maybe neighbouring) country(/ies)
13. Not alive after 1800 AD/CE (according to wikipedia)

*taken liberally, because of the political state during his life, is considered a native from the list in the link below

NOT
Marshall Tito (not counted for free guess)
Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacio (not counted for free guess)

Hmm ... looking at the list again, these should be the possible countries of origin for the person we're looking for:

Belgium, Brazil, China, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, France, Greece, Haiti, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Persia/Iran, Poland, Portugal, Serbia/Yugoslavia, Siam/Thailand, Sweden, Switzerland

I'm however a bit confused by this statement:

I could cite the examples of Holy Roman Empire- Germany, or Three Kingdoms China… both of which have been discounted.
since I think China is still possible due to the questions? Or did I miss something? Was this a hidden hint?

Anyway, I was first thinking of the Haitian revolution, but since it went from 1791-1804, I think it's just a bit too late for our person to be in it (because most likely he would lived at the end or even survived it, right?). I might be wrong there, but I also can't think of one participant in this one on the top of my hat.

That thought brought me to another revolution though, which is just a bit earlier and went from 1789 to 1799, in which there were some commonly known revolutionaries who died during the timeline. I'm talking about the French revolution of course.

So, my next question is:
"Was the native language of the person we're searching French?"

If the answer to the question above is yes, I'd like to use my free guess on Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre, or commonly known as just Maximilien Robespierre.

The Three Kingdoms period is outside our time scale.. it’s not meant as a hint :)

So we can eliminate swaths of Belgium and Switzerland too, and the only country on the list that was sovereign, united and independent between 1500 and 1800 (Denmark). So we're left with guys from:

Bosnia and Herzegovina
Brazil
China
Croatia
Czechia
Flanders
Greece
India
Italy
Japan
Montenegro
Netherlands
North Macedonia
Norway
Persia/Iran
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Serbia (including Kosovo)
Siam/Thailand
Slovakia
Slovenia
Sweden
peripheral cantons of Switzerland (e. g., Grisons)

No. It’s a shame, these countries are woefully underrepresented in the past ninety selections (no one’s chosen a Greek yet??). Still they were also some of the least likely to be correct, with the exception of certain Romanian voivodes and the PLC.

You have China, Flanders, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, and Portugal remaining.

Born in Netherlands or Portugal?

If yes, born in Netherlands?

If no, born in China or Japan?

Ok we have spent FAR too much time on nationality. At least now we know it's a famous person from the Netherlands.
