If I run a fake vote with no intention to follow-through to begin with, I don't need to go out of my way to save anyone.

If I am Mafia, I want to kill a PR. I see that. But the Infiltrator is dead, and many of the PRs can do things that might render my attempt either ineffective (Doctor) or dangerous (Tracker & Watcher, not to mention the Civil War Veteran).

So maybe instead of that I just safely kill the leading vote Townie to deny the Gambler their item in case there is one?

Yes -- I backed out of the plan before worcej claimed doctor.

But if I were scum, I would know everyone's alignment. So I would know that worcej was town. So, what would my motivation be to save him? That is the fundamental question that you must ask for your theory to hold any water at all.

But I am not changing the order in any event. Go back to my post on page 100, which I reposted again on page 105. I did not say that I backed out of the plan because worcej was a claimed doctor. I backed out of the plan because (a) we did not get a robust voting process with full buy-in from town, and (b) I wanted to be sure that everyone got a chance to check-in and report anything they may have learned overnight.

I guess I won't comment further on mafia strategy here, but suffice to say, I disagree that there is any risk that a VT will be killed here.

Obviously, mafia will be very happy for you to use Town's mischop on me. I am one of few people trying to solve the game.

You are accusing me of laying a trap to kill, learning that a Town plater wandered into the trap, and then disarming the trap.

That is not a good reason to suspect someone is scum..........

It doesn't mean I am Town. Scum players can do things that are good for Town sometimes. But like....literally the whole argument for why you think I am Scum should be an argument for why you think I am Town.

Chaqa freaking claimed Watcher and deflected attention from himself by ridiculing people for voting for PR Chaqa....
