I don't believe worcej's claim because they remain my strongest Mafia read. Of course my 2nd strongest was ghug and I was wrong about them, so take that as you will.

I think Balki's claim was reading the CWV role description and realizing that claiming that role was a smart play before others did. So I can see it either way.

Honestly, I have no clue re Chaqa's.

After reading the Koala "dialog" post again, I noticed many of the characters are now dead townies, and the other 3 are me, worcej, and Balki.

Hypothesis: Koala won't interact with scum?

Testing now by rereading all Koala posts for mentions of other players:

He OMGUS' bozo early.

It's not until the "yavu logic" post that he finally adds fish to the list of players mentioned/interacted with at least once.

FINALLY interacts with damo when damo does a math problem for him--would be weird not to interact with him in response though.

Again interacts with him when damo calls out his self sacrifice--again that's damo starting the interaction.

Same with rdr.



He has never once until N2 mentioned by name nor interacted with bo, nor Chaqa. Which is kind of spectacular.

I'll contribute a couple of thoughts so you all can discuss this theory.

I OMGUS bozo? If I did, I did not realize that I did that.

Pretty sure I never directly interacted with lfiscl or rdr either. Or pretty much anyone who didn't say something to me first. That is true.

I realize that I probably look suspicious now. That's totally fine, and it makes sense. I would suspect myself. You folks still have time to unveil me and win, right? Go for it, will make it easier for all involved. Well played Mafia team.

I've had a hell of a night. Furnace broke, had to have a repair man come, and now the thermostat isn't working right, but at least the heat is fixed.

Mafia killing Ghug over Worcej is interesting, probably means they don't take have a RBer, which is great. Or they believed Chaqa's claim, which is less likely. I don't see any obvious reason to kill Ghug, he wasn't pushing hard anyone or widely townread so probably PR hunting.

I still think Koala is town, but insisting on suicide instead of reevaluating thinfs is bad play and could cost us in the end game.

@Koala - I understand you don't want to get so involved in the game today but went you have time, try a little exercise: imagine a world where Worcej is town (an annoying one if you want) and try to consider who Mafia is on this world.

Oh wait! I have another thought on players. You should never kill koalas, or vote to kill koalas. Being a koala-killer is a truly horrible thing to do, and should always be avoided if you have a shred of decency in your heart.

I am thinking a lot about the mass claim. We’re at 7 vs 3. If we force claims, I think it’s going to be a lot easier to put the full picture of this game together. And I’d like to know if I should be trusting worcej or not.

I think we should all claim at the same time. PRs should not claim their role, but should just claim “PR.” And we should see where we are.

Im really not sure if scum will claim VTs and give us three clears or they will try to infiltrate the PR pool. Either way, we’ll learn a ton of info, and we’ll still have the ability to come up with mechanical info if scum try to NK our PRs.

What do you guys think about a mass claim now?

We need to do it while we have a miskill left.

All town should claim asap and force scum to fabricate. No need to wait for consensus. Just do it.

I'm liking the theory a bit less now. Still weird to not mention a PR claimant nor a leading contender wagon, but a lot to keep track of.

I'm not too surprised at the repeated suicide attempts; this is what I remember Sabi doing their first game too. But I had koala and sabi profiled differently; may need to readjust.
