Guess you're just a Grinch! I used a question that couldn't be answered to give away the most useful clue in my game without counting that as a question:VillageIdiot wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 5:13 pmCompletely agree, probably one of the more useful clues you have.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Mon Dec 19, 2022 4:48 pmI disagree. He did give an answer, and it's useful - because we can rule out both totally pure innocent heroic individuals, and we can rule out totally black-hearted, despicable, irredeemable villains.
Our target is more of a "tweener", as it were. Someone capable of doing both bad and good.
JECE wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 2:44 pmI can't answer with certainty whether he was ever portrayed in a film, so I'll give you a hint. A far right party is pissed (or pretending to be pissed in a vainglorious attempt to win votes) that there hasn't been a major blockbuster made about your elusive friend.
The, the, the... THE GRINCH!
Haven't watched the animated version this year, but dammit I was singing the "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" song a couple of days ago! *facepalm* Great pick, VI!VillageIdiot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 3:01 pmThe, the, the... THE GRINCH!
Well done!
I was getting worried there for a minute, was starting to resort to subliminal ‘who’ drops and splashes of green to trigger some inspiration. I figured this character had to be popping up on a daily basis these days it would have been cracked in record time.
I have heard of that show. Never watched it. Not surprised the character was in a video game but that's almost a red herring.VillageIdiot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 4:28 pmNot sure if I’m alone in never knowing he’d ever appeared in puppet form on some show called ‘The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss‘.

No idea he had video games either.
You mean John Ritter? Heck, that one's easy.VillageIdiot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 7:17 pmthe actor who played the bartender in season 2 of Three’s Company.
Pfft ... it's obviously Paul Ainsley in his iconic portrayal of "Jim the Bartender" at The Regal Beagle. Who doesn't know that?!Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 7:24 pmYou mean John Ritter? Objection! You implied it was someone who only played a bartender in Season 2 and not in other seasons.VillageIdiot wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 7:38 pmPfft ... it's obviously Paul Ainsley in his iconic portrayal of "Jim the Bartender" at The Regal Beagle. Paul Ainsley played Jim the Bartender in more than one season. Whereas John Ritter, one of the regular stars as "Jack", stood in as a bartender for storyline reasons in the Season 2 episode "Stanley Casanova", first broadcast on November 22, 1977.

Now we have to crown Jamie as the undisputed King of 20 Questions.
