jamie still has an active ban (1 game remaining) which will be completed by sitting out this mini
CALL KOUNCIL:

I have also been told (by Ghug, whatever authority he claims to be) that I am not allowed to sign up for Sabi's game.

That equates to a total ban across three games, not two.

Does this mean I'm allowed to put my name back on the list for Sabi's game?
if I remember right, ghug's message predates my decision (yesterday lol) to run a mini. his message was correct at the time. but because the terms of the ban include any minis that are run in the meantime, and because my game should start first, I believe your ban should be satisfied in this mini and you should be eligible for sabi's game.

if I have this wrong somehow, then you will be eligible for this game, and I will add you back to the list

Yeah, to hell with Ghug and his dictatorial ways. You're right, Eden, thanks.

Dictator ghug would have the death penalty for pronouncing his name wrong, but wouldn't tell you how to pronounce it.

Hahaha.

Surely it is pronounced the way CaptainMeme pronounced it in the Diplomacy Puzzle video blog about "Ghug's Gambit":

It's helpful to hear CaptainMeme say it out loud because I was mis-informed, by Ghug's older brother Guak, of all people, that the correct pronunciation was this one:

I'm not sure if the one shot cop with a godfather and a miller is strong enough with the other PR dying if he gets a correct guess ... but the concept of surviving to EonD (end of next day) sounds fun.

though, I want to ask before we start, does that mean the vote of the sheepdog is still there (and also is possible to be voted out) the day after he successfully saved?

Also, I humbly ask to maybe increase the cop to a 2-shot or explain to me, why else this would make town PR too strong?

the sheepdog can still vote and be voted out after saving someone

i could consult with the council about giving a second shot. i am concerned about how much info could be discovered from power roles if the sheepdog saves someone, however

Hmm, yeah. A little concerned with the numbers of [edit here, I read it as a 7v3 setup, not a 10-3 setup, which made my math terribly wrong and mafia lop sided, thinking there would be just so many misses, but it turns out, I should activate my brain reading. So while a one shot cop looks kinda weak, it should be fine since the mafia only has the godfather as power role; personally, I think I'd still prefer a second shot but with that greater number in mind, that might make the town powers too much, so I'm not sure about that. Especially when the cop and the dog waits for the correct time]

Also, I know it goes against instinct, but could the sheepdog theoretically guard themselves to survive the night?

Bodyguards cannot normally self-save (because it does not make sense).

I'm not very confident in this bodyguard's skills if they claim to be able to save cops, doctors, etc. but will die without a fight if they are attacked. I wouldn't pay that guy
