She mainly wrote what could be regarded as poetry?

Don't think she held an aristocratic title, did she?

1. Real dead
2. didn't die in the last 100 years
3. not owned a stone named Peni
4. Never been a citizen to the USA&Canada region
5. married (to at least one man, I suppose?)
6. aristocratic title (but meaning for governing power is confusing)
7. Alive after 01.02.1600
8. native english speaker
9. known for her written work
10. didn't publish under pen name
11. not mainly poetry

Welp, that isn't exactly my field of expertise. I suggest though to focus on the time in one of the next questions, since 1600-1921 should cover a lot of different writer (and she might've been born earlier too, maybe she had her 80th birthday in 1600 or something). I let someone who knows more about english-languaged literature of that time decide where to cut the time, since I probably would ask something like before or after 1800 and someone more knowledgeable might find a better date (also, if it's better to ask if she was alive or dead at that time might make a difference).

She should be British, maybe Irish (with a very low chance of her being Australian or from New Zealand, since those lands had not many aristocrats I believe), right? <---that's a question for the people, not the GM, so please don't count this for the 20 questions.

Also come to think about it, some british royals in that timeframe were dutch/german and learned english later in their life (if they did), so other high aristocratic people might fall in the same category, so maybe it's better to focus on lower grade nobles ...

The number of female writers over 80 in Australia in the 1600s was pretty low.

Her husband doesn't have a knighthood and it's not Jane Austin?

Then the only person it could possibly be is Hilary Mantel or the Queen Mother, and I don't think the Queen Mother's passion for writing erotic literature is widely known...

Ok so this is interesting - both this person and her husband were born into aristocratic roles.

This pair of toffs... who are they?
