I don't understand this question.

Can you be clearer about who the "they"s are in your question please?
I checked and other than me who is currently unvoted, the other four are all people who are the single vote toward another person. Is there a reason for them to change the vote if they believe the person they're voting for might be scum?
You realise that's why I listed them, yes? They are on one-vote wagons that have no traction. So their vote is very unlikely to contribute to the outcome.

Generally it's good for town if people try to make their vote count.
I'm unvoted because I don't know how to make my vote actually count. I thought damo might be someone to vote for, but others seem to imply that this isn't indicative of anything bsed on Damo's character which makes me feel less certain of whether I'm right about anything.

I have a very long track record of incorrectly reading just about everyone I know in any social situation. So I rely mostly on my interpretations of others reads of people.

There's an additional reason, of course, why people ought to try to make their votes count in this specific setup.

Ok then the post I quoted is suspicious.

Hope your partner's through the worst of it.
What do you find suspicious about it?

partner is chilling worst was the sinus headache phase early on
The "wait a second, [new information]" schtick felt contrived.
My whole sequence there was contrived, no? I literally put Sabi in timeout so that I could ask about their behavior without them interrupting or diverting the thread onto a different topic XD

@Eden: In the context of these comments, what do you feel about the fact that Sabi is hardcore defending Byz, complaining and criticising anyone who suspects or votes Byz.... as if Byz is basically Sabi’s top townread and, apparently, a hillock that Sabi is prepared to die on.
Sabi’s lack of expressed suspicion, or lack of explanation of why our suspicion of Byz is misplaced based on their past experience, is odd for sure. Sabi responded to that “are you pocketing me?” prompt by saying Byz was null, but then moved Byz up to a townlean with a relatively summary explanation (“I ISOed Byz and his ISO looked good”).

I expect Sabi to be protective of the people they invited by default, so it’s not that odd, but I would have expected a more compelling argument than Sabi has put forth, which is more or less summarized as “please don’t kill my friends d1.” A fair request, certainly, but you reckon if Sabi were convinced Byz were town, there would be more explanation of why we shouldn’t vote Byz, and if Sabi were not so convinced, then maybe some explanation of why saving a suspicious friend for a day is worth doing.

I don’t really conclude much alignment-wise about it from Sabi, it’s expected behavior and I guess I’d like to see more from Sabi about it, but I think this could come from either alignment.

Quick post
Celaph feels ok to me. He reads like someone trying to help. It might be fake, but it doesn't seem like it after my iso.
Folk aren't interested in pyxie atm.
I also iso'd damo. I see sabi's point. I also see damo auditioning for webdip mafia stand up comic. Maybe he just doesn't see anything to dug into. But...
##vote damo
This is going to sound silly, but I'm actually more inclined to trust the people who are suspicious of me vs the people who townread me. So I lowkey kind of want to trust Chaqa, I'd feel inclined to trust Bo more if Bo had been active enough to give me more of an impression as a person.

The people who I'm most suspicious of are honestly Damo (for the reasons stated earlier), and Pyx who did not feel like he was attempting to solve anything. At the same Bo similarly does not feel very participatey, kind of just here?

Celaph's questions feel more relevent and on topic, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I have no really strong opinions on others at this time.
This is a good instinct. You can tell more about the motivations of reads when you know the true alignment of the target. Someone townreading you could easily be doing it for nefarious reasons.

Rumi is clearly town so ##unvote

It's probably not worth the trouble at the end of a day but I still see there being at least one opportunistic scum in the bunch that pushed me to 5 votes within the span of an hour despite me not being here at all. Jamie sheeping Chaqa over and over again is curious.

There is no value in arguing about how "bad" anyone, even ourselves are IN GAME. Save it for in between games. If anything marks our group is less than stellar, it is this tendancy. Play the game, please. Yes, that means play the people... but "you suck" is not helpful. Neither is "i suck."

Play the game.

##vote bo
Considering the rules of this game, which were set by the council that darg participates in despite him asking me several times if I could replace him with someone else, require a player to play and leave the GM some subjectivity rather than setting explicit posting requirements I don't really buy this extended justification of killing people for not playing.

I'm not a fan of Besharam punching at damo over and over again without bringing anything new to the table, all despite damo having posted only once (a meaningless post, no less) in the last 24 hours. I don't see how you gain enough confidence in a wagon over the course of a day to really rally around it and try and convince other people to get on it without actually speaking to the player you're wagoning against while 40 pages of new information have been written since. But I can't say I don't think the damo wagon has some merit.

Stupid phone
We are in the same boat rumi.

Fwiw, we all might consider spreading out some rather than one wagon. Perhaps because i do not have a must defend townie under pressure. But s bitbof spread could help us sleuth some tags.
I'm a little behind current so maybe this get discussed but there's only double vote and no vote affecting vote counts, and the only situation that we might want to avoid is both of those nametags ending up on the same wagon?

Like are you saying that you think town benefits from finding out who has those tags to avoid potential problems?

Chaqa if you legitimately think Rumi scumslipped why haven't you tried to vote for them? Your vote and mine would have made Rumi a real wagon overnight.

Interesting that the webDip forum counts time as having begun on January 1st 1970 at 12:00.

I wonder why that is?

Maybe Kestas is hosting the site on a very old computer.
