Bona dear I know they already asked, but I’d also like to hear from you RE: Byz. He’s the one that I’m probably most regretting D1 passing bc I think he’s savvy enough to fabricate what he’s done that seems towny. But I think I’d rather vote the people that haven’t gotten the pass over doubling back to people who have.
byz won the game i was in with him by essentially being a member of the towncore. it was a while back, so i don't fully remember a lot of the details, but he successfully went deep in a way that just cut the legs out from under town, largely cause of deliberate slow cutting out of actual town players.

A lot of programming languages do be like that. PHP8 is actually pretty cool, unlike old PHP which is the most gagworthy ... wait, this site is coded in old PHP. I can't say that

Folk aren't interested in pyxie atm.
There's like 4-5 people who seem willing to put my name down but no one besides you wanted to get on the wagon so early.

Trying speedwagoning me with 15 minutes to go. People will think their votes blend in better then and they'll have you to blame and DK D2 for starting the wagon :)

Your constant skepticism of this (which I already explained) is why I heavily think you're town.

Fine I'm scum. Vote me off the island. Happy end.

I dont know how else to react to this. It is a problem with my personality rather than my ability to play the game. Self-control on my flippant tendencies is really really hard.

I like Jaime pestering me and others about his own wagon, a scum is more likely to just say "oh, fair enough, but you're wrong" Usually. Depends on meta.

Still see my original reasons to vote as good ones. Jamie doesn't seem super interested in original scumhunting. Which I'm just gonna be less forgiving of if there's a lot of noise in the thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you bandwagon voted Eden and then just parked there all day, right?
You are wrong. So far today I have at various times voted for Damo, Eden, Bo_Sox and then Eden again.

Not only are you wrong, but, more worryingly, your accusations against me have changed in a totally inconsistent manner.

Originally you accused me of, quote: "Blindly voting lowposters".

Now you are (incorrectly) asserting that I "Bandwagon voted Eden and just parked there all day"

These two statements are directly in conflict.

Eden is not a "low poster". Eden has been very active all day. He is the second-highest poster in the entire game.

How can you assert that I was only voting low-posters if you simultaneously thought I had my vote parked on Eden all day?

I can only conclude at this time that your push on me is fake and you wrongly believe me to be an easy mis-kill. I deduce that you are SCUM.

##Vote Byz
Lol
How did you come to the conclusion that Jamie had been blindly voting low posters?

Easy to read with minimal ability to accurately read others doesn't make it easy to contribute anything constructive though.

You're going to flip Byz just as likely so then what? I isoed Byz and he doesn't seem agenda driven in this game like he did in Bona game.

I know this will sound hollow, but making yourself easily townreadable is actually the single most important thing anyone can do in this game. The only info each townie has is which side they’re on, and the townies win every time if they can all identify who is on their side. So making it clear that you’re town is the #1 goal, way more than all the glory hog stuff like catching mafia or using any powers from your role effectively or any of that crap. Just being genuinely you and letting people see that you’re town because of it is the goal.

Well?

Explain.

How could you simultaneously accuse me of being scum because of voting for "low posters" whilst at the same time apparently thinking my vote was parked on President Eden the whole time?

It's unpossible for both those things to be correct.
It's certainly possible that Byz changed his mind or, more likely, actually read the thread with some care given his comments about slacking, but I want to here more from him about it.

But isn't playing a good scum game about being as close to your town-self as possible?

And so isn't the meta strategy to have these two selves overlap quite a bit so that you can play whichever side you are?

Unless you consider the fact that one will much more often be town than mafia (unless you're Celaph) and so we should all be overlapping with a weight towards true town behavior. Idk just stuff I'm been chewing on since I played so poorly in the last game :/

Rumi is clearly town so ##unvote

It's probably not worth the trouble at the end of a day but I still see there being at least one opportunistic scum in the bunch that pushed me to 5 votes within the span of an hour despite me not being here at all. Jamie sheeping Chaqa over and over again is curious.

There is no value in arguing about how "bad" anyone, even ourselves are IN GAME. Save it for in between games. If anything marks our group is less than stellar, it is this tendancy. Play the game, please. Yes, that means play the people... but "you suck" is not helpful. Neither is "i suck."

Play the game.

##vote bo
Considering the rules of this game, which were set by the council that darg participates in despite him asking me several times if I could replace him with someone else, require a player to play and leave the GM some subjectivity rather than setting explicit posting requirements I don't really buy this extended justification of killing people for not playing.

I'm not a fan of Besharam punching at damo over and over again without bringing anything new to the table, all despite damo having posted only once (a meaningless post, no less) in the last 24 hours. I don't see how you gain enough confidence in a wagon over the course of a day to really rally around it and try and convince other people to get on it without actually speaking to the player you're wagoning against while 40 pages of new information have been written since. But I can't say I don't think the damo wagon has some merit.
First, I'm not on the Kouncil. Havent been for a while.
Second, my vote tacked on the end of my rant was poorly placed. They were not connected. I was ranting about some of the tension i observed and was sick of. I voted for you, in a manner common in our game, to urge participation. When you joined i left the wagon. Maybe it's not an effective tool. I haven't kilked someone for that reason. Wasn't going to here, either.
Third, it is a bit wobbly to me that you didn't pick up on those things. You read better than that. I get it though, that you had a lot to catch up on.

Also, you hadn't noticed i had voted for you till i pointed itvout to you.
