Maybe I'm just underestimating the age demographic here. I'd think a lot of people under the age of 30 would recognize probably the most well known legendary Pokemon, but I could definitely see it getting past people outside that age group.

If we want to be nitpicky, one can definitely argue most of the last few characters don't qualify under the 50% metric.

Same here. I am not complaining @Saw725. Since I am 49, I definitely fall outside your age category.

Yeah I agree there. It's more the historical characters that I'd think aren't as well known. It makes for a hard game though, which I do somewhat appreciate.

Woo! I don't think I've thought of Pokemon as scifi, but when you qualified that as ambiguous along with the other hints then it seemed to fit. Assist to Jamiet on the medium.
