And I don't think I regularly misread damo. He's one of the players I'm most confident in my ability to read. He's just doing the right amount of stirring up things and making weird comments, and he seems town to me.

While I tend to agree with others that publicly pointing out which players can and cannot be power roles is a bad idea, I strongly doubt damo does this as mafia. In brainbomb's swords-and-sandals game (forget the number, you were a storm giant named Tyranthraxas who threw thunderbolts at town), damo figured out every power role by day 2 and was bombarding the mafia chat at night with highly skilled PR hunting, while not saying a word about it in the game thread. This is much more likely to come from town damo oversharing out of excitement.

snowy's mechanical analysis was good and his pressure on people reminded me of his previous town and crew games. Not impossible for him to be mafia, but I saw enough not to kill today for sure.

I see that there are several people, who in my magnanimity I will refrain from naming, who already have been struck by disappointment at their lack of allies in comparison to me and taken snipes at me out of jealousy.

Regardless, I will be back tomorrow evening hopefully before EOD to vote mafia, I hope a sufficient number of town will be around to jump on the wagon and begin winning the game. I would suggest doing this D1 because when I successfully kill GF D1, the mafia then will be too afraid to kill me in the night, and I'm guaranteed to survive to D2 whereupon I will kill a second mafia

I've finally solved everything. As long as Mafia kills a townie tonight, I know who every Mafia is. But if Mafia chooses to kill one of their own, I have no idea what's going on. So, we have to convince the Mafia to kill a townie to win! And there's no emoji, so y'all know this is a serious post.

I read your most recent interactions with him as damo trying to get you to reveal if you care too much about being NKd. Most VTs only care insofar as they aren't in the game anymore, but it is good for the team because *somebody* has to be NK.

This along with his repeated posting of "2 softclaims 2 nonclaims" after we discussed how it isn't helpful is icing on the cake.

The better argument is that it increases the value of the cop and JOAT.

In addition to making our chances of a daykill today marginally better and making the nightkill choice harder for the mafia.

I also think damo is quite towny for whatever that's worth

Summary of Findings

- We kill today to reduce the risk of town apathy and to give the Oracle a valid target from n1 onward. Generally, we should have a higher threshold for voting to kill than normal, but these concerns will essentially always exist and will prevail when they do.
- The Miller probably should claim sometime before the end of night 1 to give our investigative roles a chance to scan someone else. The Doctor can protect the Miller. That said, it isn't entirely clear that a later claim is bad - if the investigative roles don't scan the Miller n1 then waiting a day is just correct, as it extends our clear's lease on life for a day.

I don't have suspects that I feel confident enough in accusing yet. I have a few names, but I recognize my reasons for suspicion aren't great, and I think saying them without better reasons will just detract from town cohesion rather than aid it. I wouldn't even say this part, but I think people will expect me to have suspects by now, so I figured I should preemptively address their glaring absence.
