Based on defense of jasnah. Didn’t make sense as either alignment. I posted about it look through the bot. His defense of jasnah at eod made little sense to be if he were scum regardless of jasnahs alignment

Why do you town read bozo?

Mostly based on my Start of Day 2 reads. The noted fall off from bozo was worrying, but he did explain it and I am willing to take the explanation at face value. I think the fact he lead certain pro town positions aggressively prior to them becoming popular bought good credit with me. Why should I scum read him?

Because the play you outline is entirely in line with his meta as either town or scum, and so therefore not at all town-indicative. However, in my view, his lack of active scumreads (and to a lesser extent, townreads) is a scumtell of bozo's.

Do you have some past games to look through to confirm this read? I doubt much useful stuff will be posted for the next 20 mins so I guess I could probably get some heavy reading done.

A few times. I miskilled him as town twice day 1. And IDd him early as scum day 1 in a third game but didn’t push hard.

There are only two people I think are townclears or nearly townclears, Vecna and me. The two of us are against the kgray wagon. The two of us are both advocating a Bona wagon. Why is everyone ignoring these two things?

Anyway newbie question for this forum: how do gm assign roles? Is it randomized or do gms assign these roles on purpose. Like how do they decide these roles?

It's supposed to all be random

Whether it is, we'll never know, but I don't imagine there's much reason to suspect nefarious purpose

In all of my games I have ran, I assign a number for every role (including VTs) and use an RNG to slot people. I usually alphabetize the list and choose to either start from the top, start from the bottom, or go top-bottom-top-etc for each role slot.

I've only every re-rolled a couple times due to usually a new person getting a critical role like a 3P, but I re-roll the entire list when this has occurred to prevent any favoritisim.

Okay I know damo didn't actually claim cop before he died, but still.

Thinking about the alleged crumbs by Chaqa and damo it seems infinitely more likely to me that damo's obvtown read of Eden was a legit crumb than Chaqa's se7en reference regarding Flum. If we found out damo were the cop it would be immediately obvious who his inno scan is on. The same isn't true of Chaqa and Flum at all. So if I assume that the cop wanted their knowledge to be clear to town upon flip (which is basically required of a cop), then I think damo is way more likely to be the cop than Chaqa.

Echoing agreement on this point from kgray. Not sold on the chaqa dying D2 yet.

He keeps doing shit like lampshading he and kgray being partners in a way that baits people... well ok baits me at least, into voting him. It's at the point where I would rather him yell at me for voting him out as the actual Cop than lose to him doing that shit, because if he's Cop then I can at least point to how he's behaving and be satisfied that the mistake was understandable, whereas if he's mafia and actually gets away with it then I will literally never be allowed to live it down.

And yes that entire paragraph says nothing about whether he's actually more likely to be mafia or Cop. I think the former, and the only thing holding me back is that it's probably still mechanically correct to wait for a counterclaim or other power role info, but when he keeps openly daring me to vote him...
