Before voting for damo the first time, kgray had agreed with rdrivera that damo was "laying too low" and had questioned damo's reads list, so I do not think it is accurate to say her vote was without any explanation.
I do not agree.

bozo's apparently blindness causes him to remain on my 'do not let pitch, due to likely drug use' list.

@Bozotheclown
@Vecna

What do you think about my observations on Kgray, and specifically the way she pushed the Damo wagon without (a) having a good reason for it, and (b) without asking him any questions?

I'd really like your thoughts, and if possible I'd like you to specifically address both (a) and (b).

Thank you in advance.
kgray's D1 voting looks suspicious, but she did give reasons for voting for damo, and although she said herself they were not strong reasons, I do not think they were unreasonable for D1. kgray did ask damo some questions near EOD when damo was defending himself.
Her reasons were "he seems to be lying low" and "he is voting for Durga". Super weak stuff.

The only question she asked him was why he was voting for Durga.
damo's initial vote for Durga was obviously a joke, but then he never moved his vote when she became the top wagon and he included Durga in a list of players he was willing to vote for, so I can see how that looked suspicious, even though we now know he was town.

Going after Jamiet for an easy misskill as scum.....I guess people unaware of his old meta could make those statements lol

For your information: Whenever town-jamiet was being unfairly accused, he always used to go completely ballistic and would townclear himself very easily with his rage. Going after him for an easy misskill is not something that happens.

The fact he only did this once (against durga, where he could muster a genuine outburst because his towngame was insulted) is one of the reasons why im suspicious still. But then again, he has tried to control this habit more recently, even though its one of his most effective tools lol.
That hasn't happened in any game I've been in, and he did seem like an easy target.

You summarized it pretty well. I had to spend time (help with homework, make dinner, play a board game, etc) with family, so I didn't check the game for around 3 hours. I was 5 or 6 pages behind and I was the only non voter. I checked the bot and wagons are Durga, Bozo and Damo. On the 3 I decide to vote Damo more as a placeholder while I catch up.

After catching up I thought Damo's reaction to pressure was towny and also found weird how Bozo wagon just died with both Vecna and Bona jumping to Damo as soon as I voted. I told I might move to Bozo to see if Vecna and Bona were willing to do the same. They just ignored it.

##vote Bona
I wasn't around for EoD - I only showed up several minutes after.

We don't know if the proportion of scum inside the group of 5 is different from than the group, so not until late game (when, in theory, most of the group of 5 has flipped, and a lot of other people besides) is the group of 5 useful for scumhunting. Quick math (assuming equal proportions) suggests that 1 scum in the group is the most likely, but we won't know until we've flipped a lot of people.
Please explain the working of your "quick math" ?
The chance of each player being scum is 3/11. 5 players * 3/11 chance = 1.364 scum, on average.

Does anyone see any crumbs from brain?
Was he expecting the mafia to say ‘yeah we notice he coded he was on to us therefore we killed him’?

It looks like dargorygel saw a crumb and helped kill BB the King and his ego is really saying ‘did anyone ELSE see a crumb, aren’t I clever’.

If we voted outside the list dargorygel would get my vote.
I don't agree with this at all, because I think darg is probably the last person here I'd expect to flaunt his ego like that. But, I find this take very towny from Maniac.

You have played like what? 3 games here?

Looking it up on the bot, the last 3 games you played in, Jamiet was scum in two of those, and GM in the third.

Did I miss a game, or are you just making stuff up here to try and make me look bad?

Well, math from my perspective assuming I'm town isn't useful to anyone else. I also said this was back of the napkin, so you can't expect much from it.

Ultimately I think bb's question says very little about the 5 of us that were voting Jamie. We're sitting at 8 town 3 scum giving us two miskills before kilo. I agree with lfischl's comment that scum is unlikely to kill any of us. That is especially true as they have to pick their kill before we finalize the dk and so they can't respond well to us DK'ing scum assuming the wagons are close.

I think the more useful implications are around Jamie. The fact that scum was on his wagon makes him more likely to be town. If someone on that wagon was bussing my gut would be kgray given how she left it for Damo.
Yuck. I really don't like this post at all. Why do you think the fact that scum voted for Jamie at some point makes him more likely to be town? Scum bus and distance all the time. And what about the way I left Jamie's wagon makes you think I'd be the most likely to bus him?

Maniac’s blog April 3rd 2003

So we lost two dear friends last night. BB ‘The King’ and Damo ‘The Devil’ Davis. I’m heartbroken, two fine talent men, great player and great men too. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their friends, family, team mates and fans who are in mourning this morning. But we’ve lost something more than two fine men. Bass-ball died a little more last night too. This cancerous cocktail of drugs and cheating just added murder to its rap-sheet. We must work in unison to cut out this cancer.

BB’s phone has given us a clue to who where one or more of the druggies are hiding. Bone, Celaph, Durga, Kgray and Vecna are now the pool with the most attention. Whilst we should concentrate on this pool let’s not forget this reaction to the news that two fine men lost their lives.

My purpose in asking the question is that if there ARE NOT crumbs (which I could not find, even with brain's propensity to crumb) then perhaps scum killed him for his reads.
