I get why chaqa is deadset on this wagon but why are you?
I want competitive wagons, so I'm going to hold off on voting celaph for later.

I would start a worcej wagon because of my theory that if HB is scum (which turned out to be right), worcej is scum, but apparently some people think he townslipped. :eyeroll: I'll try it tomorrow.
How many times does it need to be reminded to you that your own theory was that if *I* was scum then worcej was scum, and HB had nothing to do with it. :eyeroll:

I would like an answer to this as well, since H and R are nowhere near each other on the keyboard, and there is only so many times you can repeatedly mix up two people until one would think you don't really believe the case you are pushing or that you are operating off a fed template, lmao

Unless, you are truly channeling the spirit of Flavius, who as town decided Chaqa was a woman repeatedly after corrections otherwise :v

I'm trying to figure out why ghug spent his EOD effort distancing from brainbomb and not Bona, in the hypothetical world where Bona is a Goon.

I've somewhat worked out that on balance, Godfather brainbomb is a superb deep threat - brainbomb knows how to play up his zany posting style so that even if he's a "cop scanned innocent," he could conceivably justify not being shot. So in a vacuum it makes the most sense for ghug to distance from brainbomb, once ghug realizes he's going down.

Do the incentives change when Bona is on the block too though?

This is actually meant to be an open-ended question because I'm not in tune enough with how mafia think on here to say. I don't know how people would read a distancing effort by ghug against Bona enough to guess how mafia would predict people to read it.

At some point I'm just going to say that yall should vote me so you guys can figure out that there wasn't 3 scum on the block.

Eden, I feel you are considering things I'd not ever consider as scum, and don't think I'm worse than mediocre in that regard lmao. There are certain players who'd absolutely do this sort of analysis, but mindless posting and "go-with-the-flow" isn't bad scum tactic either.

In other words, it would be cosmically funny if ND was indeed scum and we barely missed voting off scum and four day streak (without outright PR influence either).

No wonder everybody looks at me like I have six eyes whenever I start thinking about this. I guess if people are just go-with-the-flow posting then a lot of this isn't helpful.

I townlean him as well, he's just being lazy and not explaining whatever pings him - case in point from earlier in game, ghug

You haven't flipped, obvtowned, or been scanned by a Cop. Why's it ridiculous that this idea has persisted?
The whole point of that exercise was to rule you out as a possible suspect because my initial thought was that ghug would prefer to distance from his partner on the other wagon to give the partner some cover.
Unfortunately it didn't work, there's too many conflating factors.

I would like to rand scum with you some game in the future, seems to be a wonderfully fun experience.

But yes, my point was if tactic used is "townread whoever is generally being townread in-thread" and "scumread randomly a few generally being scum/null read in-thread", then analysing like this for distancing does not do much.
