We will announce a more official decision after M1018 ends. For M1018, continue operating under existing parameters.

And 1018 is in the books. Thanks for letting me co-GM.

RHK's setup is in final review (should be done SoonTM). Expect the M70 signup post within a day or two.

I hope yinz are ready for an RHK Special.

3P sucks

It only exists because people don't know how to scum hunt, and therefore think the game is "boring" without special roles

I like 3P

I like chaqa

I nearly always roll 3p. delete 3p roles.

I like 3p every once and awhile, but not in every setup. It's a nice 'change of pace' to sprinkle in every once and awhile.

Important Policy Change

From hereout in... the standard practice in webDiplomacy Mafia games is to allow +1 ing. IF (and only if) you are playing in the present game, and are still alive, you may +1 posts.

NOTE WELL: ONLY game players (and GMs) may +1 in an ongoing game. Observers, waiting subs, silenced, or eliminated folk may NOT +1 posts. This is exactly the same as regards ANY posting.

To be clear: when you are dead, removed, or silenced for any in-game or out-of-game reason you may NOT +1.

JUST like regular posting, when the GM has asked for silence while adjudicating, do NOT +1. Just wait. Do not +1 even the most brilliant or humorous or obvious post while the GM has asked for silence.

GM's of particular games may choose to disallow +1's in the game that they are running for us. PLEASE check game info to see if this is the case. If YOU miss an announcement, it is on you.

The kouncil convened before M1018 and proposed significant changes to how we administer punishments, what our code of conduct is, whether to add a demerit system for players who are violating our code of conduct and we delved into specific bans.

At present the kouncil is using an all or nothing system where we want to be unanimous to carry any changes.

Proposal to create a demerit system was not carried

Bans of 1 game were proposed on Jamie, ghug, Snowy, Foodcoats and worcej were proposed and none carried

Ban of 3 games on lfischl was proposed and was not carried

Lfischl can however be warned officially by the GM of 1018 for flaking. For three games in a row lfischl has signed up and has failed to consistently meet our community standards of posting and voting. please refer to the rules and abide by them lfischl.


otherwise the transparency here is to show we are watching and talking but we really would prefer people not be banned for any recent misconduct.

We discussed whether or not your motivations for trying to eliminate Jamie were game related or were driven by personal dislike and antagonism. Ultimately it comes down to that we cant force people to like each other. Also as I am sure Jamie can attest he felt he was being bullied in the game and we are required to take any such accusation seriously and do our own detective work.
