It seemed in the moment like you were convinced by Sparta's post timing analysis. I'm a little perturbed that that's not even being referenced now.
Oh no, I perturbed Ghug! Something new and different for me. lol

I didn’t think I needed to reference it because it is there for anyone to read if they want. I came around to it on my own for the reasons I’ve previously said, but yes Spirit got me thinkingin that direction.
Did you but

Note: glitter is probably not scum teammates with spirit or Sparta
Did you buy the argument specifically or did it just make you notice that Flav wasn't around?

I should not post from meetings.

Dude - I did!!!!

Because others indicated more willingness to vote for him. And I didn’t like the posts he did make. They didn’t seem to add value and there went many. I was trying contribute to a consensus vote. I’ll pull up the threads but might not happen before end of night.

Some random comments that probably don't lead anywhere:

FlaviusAetius:
I felt like Flav said very little of importance in D1. A decent amount of criticizing other's arguments with one-sentence insults. Took his wagon *extremely* personally.

Vecna: Seemed really unsure what to do. Tried to start a ghug wagon that was clearly going nowhere. It felt like the way I would play as a confused townie. Reappeared at the end to (at various times) push Will, Yoyo, and Chaqa. It felt like his confidence shifted a lot.

Yoyoyozo: Did basically nothing in D1. Highlights:
- Was one of the last to make a first post
- Didn't actually make a meaningful post for another 7 hours, immediately votes for Flav.
- Only meaningful contribution was a plea for a tied vote (with a threat of violence to enforce it).-
At the time, we had tied wagons between Flav and brainbomb. I don't think that town would generically want a tie. Would mafia want a tie? Yes, if one of their own was in on the tie.

So, if Yoyo is mafia, then probably at least one of Flav and brainbomb is mafia... but then you have to grapple with the fact that both Flav and bb voted for Yoyo. That's a lot of bussing to wrestle with.

damo: Didn't say all that much. However, what he did was mechanics-centric. I think he was asking good and important questions that others weren't. Town points for damo.

Balki: He has been kind to me, which I appreciate. However, other people seem suspicious of him. Need to make sure he is not pocketing me.

Chaqa: Not a fan of his me/Will wagon suggestion.

Glitterbomb: I generically want to townread her, but on reread, I think there are some concerning bits. I don't like her initial Chaqa vote - it seemed to be based on misreading a joke. She also was the key third vote on Will to break up the giant tie. Her late Will-Yoyo-Will switch was a bit weird.

Spirit: everyone is out to get Spirit. Pushed for Yoyoyozo over Will at the end.

I don't know what to make of the Bunny/brainbomb drama. ghug seems townish to me. worcej probably epsilon townish.

They were the top two wagons and you voted for Yoyo to put him in the lead and then Just to put him in the lead. They both had four other votes. This explanation doesn't make any sense.

I should have been more clear in my previous post. I really dislike, from a town helpfulness perspective, the D1 play of Yoyo and Flav. But I have a hard time reconciling their play with either or both of them being mafia.

##CALL GM

If Will is simultaneously top wagon and does not vote (presumably triggering modkill), what happens then?
Then he would die once (and possibly be sanctioned by the Kouncil after the game). I can't flip him twice, can I?
Implication being 2nd wagon survives. No double death. Hard luck scumbos.

##vote Just
Scumbos needs explaining.

END OF NIGHT ONE:

Even though it is nearly 2am, the dancefloor in the Roxy is still packed with party people and rockers enjoying the DJ's selection of the latest headbanging tracks.

Suddenly, the lights go out. The loid music is cut. The dancing stops. People mill around, confused.

"Like, what's going on, dudes?" asks someone.
"This is totally bogus!" declares another.

A multitude of gunshots ring out
! First one, then more, as a hail of bullets criss-crosses the room! Bodies fall to the dancefloor as the panicking crowd rushes for the fire exits!

Chaqa has died. He was Jon Bon Jovi, of the Town! He picked a Gun.

FlaviusAetius has died. He was Don Dokken, of the Town! He picked a Rose.

Spartaculous has died. He was Blackie Lawless, of the Town! He picked a Gun.

Balki Bartokomous has died. He was David Geffen, of the Mafia! He picked a Gun.

DAY HAS STARTED...
If you survived all that bloodshed, YOU MAY POST.
Potato, potato; potato.

Havent you only played like once with me?
I mean, I've only ever played once, period. But that game involved me writing this:
https://webdiplomacy.net/contrib/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=400680#p400680
Sparta,

(1) I love the energy and effort you bring to these games. Please don't every change.

(2) Here is what I see as a significant difference between your deep dive post in M88 and your deep dive post in this game: the one you did in M88 seemed targeted at something really useful and alignment indicative. It was a meta read on Will's wolfgame, which reflected serious effort and an actionable conclusion:
The important lesson to learn here is that Will does *not* seem to like to put out *any* town reads on his teammates, or at least not in the first day or two. I don't think this is the kind of part of his gameplay that would change.
So, if your Role PM is Mafia in this game, I would imagine that you felt a bit of pressure to replicate that in this game here. I can see you coming to the thread wanting to look like Town!Sparta and therefore wanting to put in a lot of effort on some detail and writing a long post about it.

But I think where you went wrong is that, in trying to replicate that, you wound up presenting a lot of numbers and words that lead no place at all because you had no puzzle to solve.

Just looks a lot more like someone trying to replicate Town!Sparta than actual, sincere Town!Sparta.

I'd be interested in your reaction to that take.
Balki's progression here on Sparta from vote to coach to townread happened really fast.

Thats gotta be at least 2 mafia in that balki. You maybe included.

But if it means I live to keep playing then sure.
Why do you say there are at least two mafia in that group?
A particularly strange thing to say if you know you are Town.
Shading brain while townreading him.
