Why are we set on the idea that perp is town, exactly?

I am not. Given my notes yesterday, I was leaning town because I felt like they were a new player. Scrambling, latching on to someone's idea. Buddying. I am not as high on them as town now as then.

They're not a new player, for what it's worth.

I see someone who very performatively offered to be killed and whose wagon dissipated in favor of two townies. Seems like a solid chance there's scum there.
