"I can't understand why the Chinese government would go to such lengths to kill me. I'd hardly even found anything yet."

Doggett shrugged. But Skinner had more.

"I found out where the instruction came from, to bury this case in the Z-files".

There was a dramatic pause. The lighting in the room seemed to flicker as they all turned their attention to Skinner's face.

"It was from the White House. From the Commander in Chief."

Reading the mafia doc description again, I can't think of the value of such a role. It doesn't benefit mafia; just saves a NK target, right?

So it would be like this
Basic tier
•Use ability to save own members from sk, aliens or vig

Clearing tier
•Use role to find real doctor or loud doctor trade 1 for 1 in a claim
•Use role to clear self by visits

Advanced Tier
•Save a town from Maf Kill and posture as the good aligned doc

Risky Tier
•Save a scum buddy from scum kill to clear both players

most people would assume ezio was trying to out towns doc, not pose as towns doc to eat a nightkill. especially early game.

So I am indeed curious if you are scum with ezio and the play was to see if you had any other doc claimaints

Im gonna honor ghug and ezio here but I absolutely think if they rolled scum with you Hamilton; that brilliant ezio would have come up with a way to clear all of you mechanically starting with you as the likely deep agent.

If your theory is resting on a foundation that I am scum, then it will fall apart rather quickly. But let me go back and reread what you think Ezio's role in the drama that day might have been.

To my knowledge, Ezio's rationale was a pretty bonkers, from out of left field WIFOM strategy.

I do think Ezio would want to do something like this. I don't think HB or I would be super inclined to involve HB specifically in a plan like that after last game.

Which was my reaction to the town doctor discard claim. I also don't think it's incumbent for anyone with or without that role to necessarily remain quiet with a blatant lie.
