What'd change if you look at it like HB is town and the wagon on him contains scum?

It seems like a lot of energy to openly claim the belief the damo wagon is town and HB's isn't.

Why is it scummy?

If everyone stated whether they would accept a tadpole, mafia would know who they could successfully recruit. We're better off not revealing whether we would accept so mafia has like a 50% chance or whatever at successful recruitment.

I think this is a great reason why Kak isn't scum, actually. Actual scum would think this through just like this, determine that they're probably going to to get heat for suggesting it, realize that town might just lie, and so it's not worth it. The scum team is much more likely to discuss who they think is the best player that they can successfully turn is rather than relying on anything that anyone has said in the thread about accepting a tadpole.

No, I had posted in response to one of his posts that seemed off to me, and some of the people voting for him are people I townread (such as you), thus bolstering my resolve to vote damo.

Damos weird naked end vote is concerning but could just be damo being weird. I'm more concerned about why he defended Jamie hard claiming saying Jamie was under pressure when damo knows better. Feels more like damo spewing to me.

How are these scum indicative vs bad indicative?

A - I think damos one strong suit has always been mechs, so I refuse to believe he would genuinely believe Jamie's hardclaim is reasonable

B - I don't know why town damo would spend one of his few posts on answering a question posed at Jamie, even if he were in the mood to spread bad takes. I do however see a scum motivation, which is spewing on Jamie.

Admittedly my scum read on damo is weak, but I don't really have a much better scumread on anyone yet, so I'm voting the person who is both anti town and slight scum leaning.

For those criticizing the damo wagon, where are your cases on your votes and why are those cases better than the damo wagon? The HB wagon seems equally fueled by HB just being useless rather than him doing anything specifically scummy.

This kind of thought process is too logical. You can't catch scum D1 by rigorously analyzing people's "scumminess."
