Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
Maybe after the 19th question? I'm stumped but I'm sure someone here has a way to glean more information.
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
Clarification for QM: When you answered "no" to "member of the Entente", which Entente were you referring to? It was a poorly worded question, as there were several Ententes ("entente" simply meaning agreement, or understanding). Were you saying no to the Entente Cordiale (UK, France), the Triple Entente (UK, France, Russia), or the Entente in the sense of all the Allies of WWI.

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
Further clarification - did you mean the country was not a member of the Allies/Entente at the time of this person’s leadership, or at any point during WW1?

If yes: Ignacy Daszyński
If yes: Ignacy Daszyński
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
Whoops, thought we were already at 19 questions.
I'm just going to use Ignacy Daszyński as an unfree guess.
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
That's 20 questions up.
5 guesses left
Hint: The game number provided the inspiration

Oh yeah. Sorry. Counted the unfree guess forgetting the condition wasn't met.

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
Born in what was, at the beginning of World War I, a part of the German, Austro-Hungarian, or Russian Empires, or born in Scandinavia?
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
If this gets a "yes", I'll guess Konstantin Päts. I can't make a connection to the number, but maybe there's one there.wintergreen wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 9:48 pmBorn in what was, at the beginning of World War I, a part of the German, Austro-Hungarian, or Russian Empires?
If it's a "no", I want to say it could be someone from Ireland (country code 353) but Ireland wasn't an independent country at all during World War I, unless you count the proclaimed Irish Republic in 1916.

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 353
The country code thing is very astute. I think that was the meaning of the hint.Hominidae wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 9:56 pmIf this gets a "yes", I'll guess Konstantin Päts.
