I’ve very tired but I’m pretty sure Balki and Damo were two of Vecna’s scumreads. So their exchange is weird to me. When I’m feeling better, I’ll try to reread Vecna but tbh that’s a lot of work.

The smuggler was in a tough spot, if they were tracked and gave false targets, they would be caught. However, if they gave their real targets, they would cast suspicion on their teammates (or teammate) if they flipped smuggler. I could see them going either way.

I've said repeatedly that I believe scum lied. Yoyo flipping means they didn't coordinate, but I also now know that the scum lied.
