I don’t really know what I think about you alignment-wise, but if you’re town then I’m gonna need your vote to win. When do you think is the latest realistic time you’ll be able to cast it?

The latest I can cast, repeatedly, like, an hour or 2 before this.

I'm sorry you think that, but this is not buddying. I know I haven't played in a while, but this is something that happens almost every game, as both scum and town. I pick a player is is good and who I trust and follow them. It has historically been mostly Kgray, but in more recent games it was Jamie a few times.
