Ezio has been my biggest disappointment, I wanted for him to do a va-va-voom turnaround and explode on people, reaction test and all that stuff

I was going to say that Ezio definitely isn't mafia because what mafia in the universe would come out on D1 and claim third party and draw the attention to themselves, but it would be such a hilariously bad strategy that Ezio, the guy who basically never survives D1, would probably try it.

because when we lynch Ezio today we know he's not the alien

if we keep Ezio alive, he can infect him tonight, and we just keep assuming he's the alien and lynch him the day before he's supposed to win

it would be a good play, also guarantees he can survive the d3 strat to out the alien that people came up with

Because it leaves someone alive who *could* be the Alien. It fails to narrow down the pool of potential aliens. Plus, Bo_Sox was claiming to believe Ezio's alien claim, leaving him the opportunity of mislynching Town Ezio on D2 or D3, further protecting himself from lynch if he's the Alien.

why would the alien choose Ezio to infect when Ezio is clearly up for a lynch later?

but wouldn't they want to infect someone that dies though? Or at least, from Ike's point iirc awhile back. Also, I guess a possibility to wanting to infect Ezio (if he isn't alien) would be that if someone scans him for alien dna and get a positive, Ezio would pretty much be a scapegoat/way to avoid being outed lol
