I really don't see why everyone is not switching to Tem. It is clear his 'role' is nonsense. Anyone not switching I will consider to be scum.

The reason to not stay on Squigs is if we think Tem is scum and are unsure of squigs. Then at EOD Tem jumps off wagon and squigs shoots a town. Yes we now become sure of Tem, but we already are pretty sure and losing 2 Town hurts.

We don't wait until EOD. We hammer so that scum!Tem does not know when the right time to jump is.

Maybe Squigs has a more valuable role for scum (Redirector?) and that's why Tem is sacrificing himself? I want to think a bit more about this, but I'm staying on Squigs for now. If Squigs is telling the truth, Tem dies anyway.

Just got back from a Zoom call, and oh well, scumread again. It's becoming a trend...

Why would I claim such a risky role if I were scum, considering my fakeclaims as both reaver prime and gladiator were both VTs... I play safe as scum, don't I, why would I claim a role that would be "broken"?

If you had claimed VT in this setup, that would have been glorious.

Idk about Sarah and the D1 Tracker thing though. Maybe Sarah thought Donny was scum and just used the power on him but just... uhh... didn't even suggest he was town? Consider it, why else was I even inclined to believe he was town in my third post when past games had me just go along with the general flow?

If you are mafia, you would have known that neither Donny nor rivera were, so indeed you would have been inclined to believe they were both town.

Claiming lie detector doesn't seem something you'd do so easily. Scum would kill/roleblock you, if you're town; if you're scum, town would wonder why scum didn't kill/roleblock you.

I'm kinda with you there. Even if it turns up that Temasek says "squigs is lying"or "squigs is telling truth" and is correct, it's still more likely Temasek is scum.

Now that I stop and think...this is the PERFECT fake claim for scum. Of course someone like Xorxes will suggest using it as a cop scan, and scum can do that.

I am not townreading Squigs by any stretch of the imagination but surely the optimal townplay is to lynch Tem and leave Squigs until tomorrow when we have may info from the night which makes things clearer.

Because I don't think Squigs is town and in the unlikely case that he is we get Tem anyway.

Who are your top 3 scum reads?

Temasek, Bunny and... at this point someone that is "clear" obviously can't be, so either Vecna or damo probably. I feel like Vecnas claim and subsequent info makes him town, but we have seen that Vecna is capable of some outside the box plays so idk. The scan on damo should make him clear, but mafia likely has some way to mess with investigatives given the number of town investigatives.

I think Vecna did use that Veteran power on N2, the flavor was pretty conclusive in that respect. What I'm not at all convinced of is that this power was not just one item for a scum JOAT, which would fit perfectly with the abundance of crumbs Vecna left D1, so he could finally claim whichever of his JOAT abilities seemed more convenient later. A two-shot Veteran is kind of a weird role.

This thought does not seem very well thought out at all.

I was softing armorsmith (to attract scum attention). I made that abundantly clear that that was what I was claiming, especially in regards to softing I was going to protect and gift to emc. Why would a scum JOAT have armor to give out and be softing that?

Im quite sure the veterans in the past were limited use
