Not if Tem jumps at EOD.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
If you had claimed VT in this setup, that would have been glorious.Temasek22 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 1:35 pmJust got back from a Zoom call, and oh well, scumread again. It's becoming a trend...
Why would I claim such a risky role if I were scum, considering my fakeclaims as both reaver prime and gladiator were both VTs... I play safe as scum, don't I, why would I claim a role that would be "broken"?
If you are mafia, you would have known that neither Donny nor rivera were, so indeed you would have been inclined to believe they were both town.Idk about Sarah and the D1 Tracker thing though. Maybe Sarah thought Donny was scum and just used the power on him but just... uhh... didn't even suggest he was town? Consider it, why else was I even inclined to believe he was town in my third post when past games had me just go along with the general flow?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I wont be able to look into this today myself - Happy Mother's Day, by the by! - but maybe we should look at how Fox, Vecna and damo treated Sarah D1 and D2.
Damo specifically wanted to hammer at one point to save her from modkill...

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Sure. Brainbomb mentioned it night 1.
EMC/TheMarche/Kgray discussed it on day 2.if there is a lie detector we could use it to learn donnys align
EMC: Possibilities for his role.
TheMarche: (in reference to EMC)
Kgray:Claiming lie detector doesn't seem something you'd do so easily. Scum would kill/roleblock you, if you're town; if you're scum, town would wonder why scum didn't kill/roleblock you.
xorxes if you do assume Donny was scum, what's your theory as to why emc said anything about Donny's role at all? Why would he bother going through all this just to try to convince town that Donny was town? Why not just claim coroner or a lie detector or something?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
It was brainbomb. You were confused about his "Donny is town" post, and I told you to read his previous few posts.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Ok Xorxes I'll attempt to hammer Tem if you can get some other volunteers.

We need seven votes to hammer.
And people staying off the Squigs wagon are very suspect.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I agree. But I’ve never had one before in a game and was slow on the uptake. Forgot we could make people post (<cough> CHAQA <cough>)xorxes wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 2:39 pm"someone like Xorxes"? What other use could a Lie Detector possibly have other than using it as a cop scan?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 11:35 am
I'm kinda with you there. Even if it turns up that Temasek says "squigs is lying"or "squigs is telling truth" and is correct, it's still more likely Temasek is scum.
Now that I stop and think...this is the PERFECT fake claim for scum. Of course someone like Xorxes will suggest using it as a cop scan, and scum can do that.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
My current guess would be:
RHK: Doctor
Vecna: JOAT
Squigs: Redirector
Tem: Lawyer
RHK: Doctor
Vecna: JOAT
Squigs: Redirector
Tem: Lawyer
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I don't understand. Why are you sacrificing a possible town Squigs when Tem is almost certain scum. I am not townreading Squigs by any stretch of the imagination but surely the optimal townplay is to lynch Tem and leave Squigs until tomorrow when we have may info from the night which makes things clearer.xorxes wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 3:23 pm##endJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 3:21 pmOk Xorxes I'll attempt to hammer Tem if you can get some other volunteers.

Because I don't think Squigs is town and in the unlikely case that he is we get Tem anyway.damo666 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 3:33 pmI don't understand. Question. Can tem jump and vote end on someone else and end? What are the rules this game?xorxes wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 3:23 pm##endJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 3:21 pmOk Xorxes I'll attempt to hammer Tem if you can get some other volunteers.

I’ll ##end. But if it gets close be ready to finish when Tem is on squigs wagon. I’m uncomfortable.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Very possible. So let's lynch Tem and then a Jamie protected summit can safely scan Squigs (or Vecna). If redirected from target this is as quasi guilty on Squigs.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
This thought does not seem very well thought out at all.xorxes wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 2:06 pmI think Vecna did use that Veteran power on N2, the flavor was pretty conclusive in that respect. What I'm not at all convinced of is that this power was not just one item for a scum JOAT, which would fit perfectly with the abundance of crumbs Vecna left D1, so he could finally claim whichever of his JOAT abilities seemed more convenient later. A two-shot Veteran is kind of a weird role.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 3:08 amTemasek, Bunny and... at this point someone that is "clear" obviously can't be, so either Vecna or damo probably. I feel like Vecnas claim and subsequent info makes him town, but we have seen that Vecna is capable of some outside the box plays so idk. The scan on damo should make him clear, but mafia likely has some way to mess with investigatives given the number of town investigatives.
I was softing armorsmith (to attract scum attention). I made that abundantly clear that that was what I was claiming, especially in regards to softing I was going to protect and gift to emc. Why would a scum JOAT have armor to give out and be softing that?
Im quite sure the veterans in the past were limited use
If it was just "one item" out of a plethora, why would that one item get its own special flavour?
