Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
And so everyone knows: my confession to EP truly was random. Everything I said about it was true, I did not see the vote for damo until after the deadline, which I missed (although only by about one minute),

Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
My vote ended up not making a difference, I was still arguing that it was BEX when Ike made his decision. I was certain it was BEX up until yuuki stopped voting for brainbomb and you and yuuki started trying to manipulate Ike's vote. I really think we would have had a much better chance if you and yuuki had just voted brainbomb with me and pointed out to Ike that brainbomb was obviously not town.

Maybe. remember though from mpov there was a slight chance of EYZbozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 4:22 pmMy vote ended up not making a difference, I was still arguing that it was BEX when Ike made his decision. First on all, on behalf of the GM team: Apologies, everyone.
As a team, we were flaky and not exact with timing, and didn't provide interesting flavour, amongst other things. Participation and interest in the game also seemed low.
Rivera's hidden agenda was [grudge against yuuki].
I'm also sorry about how it was unclear for awhile on what would happen in case of a tie - was writing setup as yavu's original one was made for an odd number of players, and he didn't leave information regarding it, unfortunately.
However, it worked out fine - am a bit disappointed actually, that a tie did not occur :D
It would have triggered a hidden phase, which (imo) was pretty fun.

Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
This is what I posted to the GMs as soon as the game started:
"I don't see any way that Mafia can win this. Even if rivera gets a hidden agenda favorable to Mafia, the best we can hope for is a tie. Town will have huge amounts of info by the time we have to lynch."
I think rivera's wincon was the coinflip that would define the result.
I'd still like to know what it was.

It was unfortunate that you and I were not cleared to each other even though you knew Espresso was confirmed and I knew brainbomb was confirmed. However, for me to be mafia it would mean brainbomb was town, which I thought was obviously not the case long before he was confirmed to me.

Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
I think you guys maybe played a little too aggro + it ended up working in our favour in the end.
Hats off to you for figuring it out though. I thought you guys had us once you implemented the group vote on confessions.
The rdr agenda was also pretty lucky.

It ended up working out as well as it could have. Imo, it would have been a 100% loss if you and I both had to confess to town.

@bozo I thought you played very well, especially considering you had less information than many.

As a note - my lurkiness at the beginning was genuine. Class start and game start unfortunately overlapped.

Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
@Ike: how could you not recognize we were town after we pegged our votes to you is beyond my understanding
Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
It's a shame about the rdr agenda as he was completely sure scum team was BEX
Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
@rdr@ why did you choose to side with mafia even when I was not happening as a lynch? You could had at least helped town win instead of helping them lynch someone other than me. You sowed the doubt in bozo too by being willing to lynch bozo or damo too.
Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
Way scummier. It wasn't even close. BEX never did anything townie all game while bozo you and me went out of our way repeatedly to prove we were town. The fact that at the end bozo and you were having doubts about each other while BEX never doubted each other should also have been proof.damo666 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 4:15 pmIt was a 50/50 for you. Hard luck. I thought they were scummier than us though.RagingIke297 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 4:13 pmIt was either BEX or DYZ, i picked wrong. I thought there was no way the info DYZ got could line up so perfectly like that....
Re: Mini Mafia 1008 - Triple Agent
Last piece of venting
@Ike: why on earth wouldn't you try to tie the game at the end?
