Shit lmao, that was a lot - quite glad of the way the game is going so far. Interesting number of noobs, especially as this is closed, did not say this in sign up so welcome :D
Oh amazing, I didn't think you were playing and were waiting for people to call out my joke emc policy vote was scummy!

... I should read the player list.
This reads as overt "look at how inattentive I am! xd". Tastes a bit off but may be just humour missing.

To continue the above, combine that with his comments on not reading the setup

Brain, Xorxes, Bozo and rdr all seem town to me.
It's D1 damo, you're not supposed to be contributing yet!
Oh yeah. Sorry.
Tongue-in-cheek, oh, Damo. I admit your last game has me on paranoid in regards to you.

I don't really think too-scummy-to-be-scum is a thing, but foodcoats is making me question that.

The whole Neph/Vecna interaction makes me cock an eyebrow but am not sure to why. Don't think they were this awkward before, no?

Guys, I went to sleep last night and had the WEIRDEST fucking dream. I dreamed that EMC was in the thread posting preliminary reads of nearly half the players. :o
Lmao. Want the dream to get weirder? ;)

risk to town:
1. the third party could be like the assassin in a previous game where they win by killing certain roles
Highly unlikely, given this:

The goal is simple: be the last group alive. My team is equipped with the means to end you quickly, however will you be able to outwit them and overcome them yourselves? Time will tell. Just remember, there is no such thing as honor in a deathmatch…”

I don't see the value of 'guessing' the scum-numbers.

It's either going to lead to false security of false insecurity. More chaos.
I want to townlean dargo for this (and some other posts) but did someone else not just say this same idea previously, a few pages back? Don't know who though.

To be clear I dont have any guns. I will never be shooting or killing anyone in this game. And I did promise you id not lie this game. my role is incapable of killing
What if an inventor gives you a gun?
This is an odd line to take
I was just being contrarian, but what is odd about it?

Will be probably less verbose, hands achey so voice to text some parts.
You want us to ask you what you've been doing with your hands, don't you?
Lol. Since you asked, I made mistake of agreeing to split wood for most of the day and my hands could not quite close together anymore. A bit better today but short posts are expected for next few days :D

I don't remember anyone else saying that, but how is it towny? Do you believe that we're all suddenly going to believe in whatever the majority opinion is and then be either complacent or apprehensive? Or do you think it's towny because he truly believes that he is protecting the town's equanimity even though he is obviously not doing that?

I am giving scum points to rdr and Chaqa for arguing that we should vote Sarah because she is bad-town. I have played scum and 3P more than I have played town on here, and "this person is scum OR bad-town so they're a positive EV lynch" is a great D1 argument that I enjoy employing from those perspectives. :-D

As town, personally, I don't want to lynch any town, and it's bit early to be arguing as though we are out of options and therefore should policy Sarah based on the last game, isn't it?
Hm, true, but would not necessarily put it as possibly "scum motivated". More likely to be emotional/seemingly logic motivated. You were not in that game were you lmao

I would like to call attention to Bismark's one post
Also Summit and Flash
They seem to either be busy or lurking and I for one would like their thoughts because of their lack of participation
Anything specific about Bismarck's post that you didn't like? Or just that it was only one post?

None of those, actually. I think it's towny in the sense that he is calling out everyone who is using mechs-guessing as an excuse to be active and contributing, as there's no use for that at this point in game.

3p maybe?
If there is a gunsmith or inventor it is most likely town, although of course we can't know for sure. Highly unlikely that scum would be given an extra kill for no reason.

I'd encourage anyone with a gun to hold off firing until at least the mid-game. Early shots seem to hit town more often than not, speaking of scum getting extra kills for no reason.

Nah, that's easy to do as scum too. And as I said, I think putting scum on the spot with this type of questions is not a bad thing. The actual numbers that people give in response is the least interesting part. And town talk about mechanics too. If that is all that Fox was doing, the point might have some value, but picking one thing in isolation as scummy I think is less compelling.

That's easy to say for someone that expects to live that long. Although I have been living longer than expected lately.
