This reads as overt "look at how inattentive I am! xd". Tastes a bit off but may be just humour missing.

Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
To continue the above, combine that with his comments on not reading the setup
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Tongue-in-cheek, oh, Damo. I admit your last game has me on paranoid in regards to you.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I don't really think too-scummy-to-be-scum is a thing, but foodcoats is making me question that.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
The whole Neph/Vecna interaction makes me cock an eyebrow but am not sure to why. Don't think they were this awkward before, no?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Highly unlikely, given this:bozotheclown wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 5:11 pm
risk to town:
1. the third party could be like the assassin in a previous game where they win by killing certain roles
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I want to townlean dargo for this (and some other posts) but did someone else not just say this same idea previously, a few pages back? Don't know who though.dargorygel wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 2:16 pmI don't see the value of 'guessing' the scum-numbers.
It's either going to lead to false security of false insecurity. More chaos.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I was just being contrarian, but what is odd about it?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Lol. Since you asked, I made mistake of agreeing to split wood for most of the day and my hands could not quite close together anymore. A bit better today but short posts are expected for next few days :D
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I don't remember anyone else saying that, but how is it towny? Do you believe that we're all suddenly going to believe in whatever the majority opinion is and then be either complacent or apprehensive? Or do you think it's towny because he truly believes that he is protecting the town's equanimity even though he is obviously not doing that?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:20 pmI want to townlean dargo for this (and some other posts) but did someone else not just say this same idea previously, a few pages back? Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Hm, true, but would not necessarily put it as possibly "scum motivated". More likely to be emotional/seemingly logic motivated. You were not in that game were you lmaofoodcoats wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 3:04 pmI am giving scum points to rdr and Chaqa for arguing that we should vote Sarah because she is bad-town. I have played scum and 3P more than I have played town on here, and "this person is scum OR bad-town so they're a positive EV lynch" is a great D1 argument that I enjoy employing from those perspectives. :-D
As town, personally, I don't want to lynch any town, and it's bit early to be arguing as though we are out of options and therefore should policy Sarah based on the last game, isn't it?
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Wood. That's what I thought.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Anything specific about Bismarck's post that you didn't like? Or just that it was only one post?Donny Dude wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 4:50 pmI would like to call attention to Bismark's one post
Also Summit and Flash
They seem to either be busy or lurking and I for one would like their thoughts because of their lack of participation
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
None of those, actually. I think it's towny in the sense that he is calling out everyone who is using mechs-guessing as an excuse to be active and contributing, as there's no use for that at this point in game.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:27 pmI don't remember anyone else saying that, but how is it towny? Hah! I am being innuendoed, been awhile since I've been on the receiving side.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:28 pmWood. That's what I thought.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
If there is a gunsmith or inventor it is most likely town, although of course we can't know for sure. Highly unlikely that scum would be given an extra kill for no reason.
Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
I'd encourage anyone with a gun to hold off firing until at least the mid-game. Early shots seem to hit town more often than not, speaking of scum getting extra kills for no reason.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:34 pmIf there is a gunsmith or inventor it is most likely town, although of course we can't know for sure. Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
Nah, that's easy to do as scum too. And as I said, I think putting scum on the spot with this type of questions is not a bad thing. The actual numbers that people give in response is the least interesting part. And town talk about mechanics too. If that is all that Fox was doing, the point might have some value, but picking one thing in isolation as scummy I think is less compelling.e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:30 pmNone of those, actually. Re: M55: The Last Party - Game Thread
That's easy to say for someone that expects to live that long. Although I have been living longer than expected lately.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 7:40 pmI'd encourage anyone with a gun to hold off firing until at least the mid-game.
