Regardless, I'd just like to know what questions are true and what are not, so I can reassess what we're looking at for information and how many questions we have left
Moving on from the first question, be careful with how the questions are phrased. At least one answer may surprise players once the identity of our mystery figure is revealed.

This game is getting frustrating. A while back a QM told us the subject was in the Politburo during WW2, when in fact he was appointed in 1946. Now the QM tells us he is "living" and we cannot trust that that in fact means he is, you know, living?
As the QM from that game I looked back in that thread and: the question was about ministerial rank, which Beria, in my opinion, had. The problem here is my interpretation of the list of examples provided, which I interpreted to be including but not limited to, not as the only set of possibilities.

Now, I can see the latter interpretation making sense and potentially being the correct interpretation. English is not my native language and it’s easy for me to miss nuances like this. Regardless, I will apologise for misunderstanding the question and having thrown you of guard acknowledging that my interpretation might just have been wrong.

I’m not going to guess him because I already used mine and I’ve already missed obvious details. Patrice Lumumba fits all the criteria including that I can’t figure out his height. If someone can figure it out, maybe it’s a good guess.

That explanation makes sense. Luckily for me, the Wikipedia article on the Soviet Politburo during that time was really confusingly written, and made it seem like Beria was there during the War.

And honestly, I understand this mistake too. I can see glossing over the word "living".

The first question specified "living".
Thank you
Hmm, I did not read the first question as necessarily asking about somebody who is currently alive; I read it more like 'real live human'.
"Living" explicitly means not dead. Your answer was misleading if the person is dead. You should clarify if they are alive or dead.

It was a five-part question (presumably, since the author of the question hasn't complained) and I answered yes to four parts of the question. Plus you've already narrowed it down a lot with useful questions.

So I believe we have:

1. Real human (who is probably dead) more than 5 feet tall born in a country with 1 million plus present-day inhabitants.

2. Not born in Eurasia or North America.

3. known for serving in government, for being a military leader, for being an athlete, or for being a scientist, broadly defined (including mathematics and social sciences) or an inventor

4. South American or African

5. Not born north of the Equator

6. Not female

7. Known for being a governmental or military role

8. Current or former head of state and/or head of government

9. Did not hold a government role in a country where Spanish or Portuguese is an official language.

10. Not a Head of state/government for at least some time after the end of 2005.

11. Not head of state for South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Madagascar, Lesotho, Eswatini, Malawi, or the Comoros.

12. Born after 1800.

Is he a dead person primarily associated with an African country that was also the country of his birth?

I'll take a free guess even if we did waste 10 questions assuming our person was "living".

Juvenal Habyarimana, former President of Rwanda whose killing brought on the Rwandan Civil War.

Were they a head of state and/or head of government for at least some time between 1950 and 1978, inclusive?

OK, so maybe his associated country includes his birthplace, but the birthplace was not part of that country at the time of birth. Or maybe he's "South American" or "African" in an ancestral sense.

Born in Africa?
