There is only one specific re-direction power in the entire game and that power is possessed by the ALIEN which is the role you are now claiming to be.

Therefore either:

1. The GM has made a serious mistake,

or

2. You are not telling the truth.

If and you are reporting this accurately and sincerely, Bob, then the only explanation I can think of is (1), and you should ask the GM for clarification as a matter of urgency. Otherwise, you are not telling us the truth.

If anyone can offer another explanation I would love to hear it as soon as possible please.

Of course, if you're just fucking about for shits and giggles, perhaps you could have re-directed yourself, but I assume this is not permitted. And in that case, you would be lying about not having a clue what occurred, so that's effectively a variant of "2. You are not telling the truth."

I really dont know why you guys are even discussing this lol.

Today we still have 8 people. Tomorrow we will most likely be down to six, meaning with 2 extra votes the alien can always tie.

Today is the last option we have to kill the alien. Even if bob is telling the truth, we dont want to be forced to let scum kill Fox

even if i infect tonight, chances are i dont have two infectees by morning
and if i do scum will nk one the day after

if you want to be really safe we can no-kill today and i cant possibly control half the votes tomorrow, so if i infect instead of killing you just vote me off then
i am under no inclinations to help scum at all any more

yeah or we could play it even safer and just kill you. Then we can take the 50/50 between ghug and Rdrivera and have that determine whether town or scum win (if what youre saying is true about the low infect count).

He is not saying he thinks anyone used the Microbe Ray on you.

He is saying that he did not do anything that would have directed the Alien away from you, and he is mentioning that he does not have the item (which I had mentioned) in his possession anyway.

I am inclined to assume the former.
