I was reading the Clif notes. As time has gone on, and another re-read, you concern me.

by the way if you happen to witness anyone dying tonight and you see someone performing a kill do not claim as the kills can potentially be driven

Driver:
You are the DRIVER. Each day you must vote for a suspect. Each night, you may visit TWO other players player by PM'ing the GM’s with the order ##DRIVE <NAME> AND <NAME>. Any actions performed on player one will be transferred onto player two, and vice versa. They will not be notified of your visit. At night you can talk to the other Mafia in the Mafia QT at <LINK>. You win when the Werewolf and all of the Town have been eliminated, or nothing can stop this from happening.

I don't like this post because it's unnecessary and unprompted elaboration on someone else's kinda old comment. Bad vibes, reallyyavuzovic wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 10:51 pmI agree and being careless is a towny behaviour. When I was scum, I used to reread all my messages before posting so I wouldn't scumslip. Posting careful is NAI but posting careless is town-ish.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 2:20 pmScum players are always (or should always be) self-aware of what their posts look like.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 2:15 pm
This assumes that a scum player (macca) was self aware during a stream of consciousness post that they were being their ordinary self and went and self edited. Im not even sure how this refutes my point that they added faked enthuisiasm at the end to look towny. again this post was from M64 and not this game.

I wish I was able to code good enough to crash the bot though.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:25 pmI sort of thought in my darkest most sinister consideration that yav was attempting to execute a script that would crash the bot on purpose to take it out of use. But I also thought that would be super unsporting, and very outside of his level of evil. yav simply wouldnt try to crash the bot imo.
but the joke still didnt make much sense to me. maybe it wasnt for me. I dunno who the joke was for.
Jamie reacting to this seems a little forced since it has already been discussed a decent amount
crash(bot)
Anyway, I don't think your accusation on Jamie is applicable because I do it a lot too: He just reacts upon seeing the message before finishing to catch up.
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I don't know why you think it's scummy to react to an old post. Last 2 hours passed me trying to cath up and I started from the point I left, and I reacted to every message I found worthy. You may be right about the necessity, but I guess I would be more careful if I were mafia.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 12:05 amI don't like this post because it's unnecessary and unprompted elaboration on someone else's kinda old comment. Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
I do not townread Vecna as strongly as people seem to think. He's more very soft town, but I would use that phrasing regardless of my perception of the other player.yavuzovic wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 11:13 pmThis post makes brain less scummy in my eyes and makes me suspicious about Bona. Like Bone, I townread Vecna too but he assumed that Vecna is town when writing this. Does Bona know who's mafia and who's not? We have the werewolf though. It's still suspicious and I'm fine with switching my vote to Bona. I just need to catch up so I can see the thread clearer.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 1:27 pmthis implies you think Vecna is town, and an authority over public opinion.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 1:23 pm
It's an early d1 offhand comment. You can't read anything into it.
Do you fear Vecna will sway the game his way?
Re: MAFIA 66: The Battle for Olympus - Game Thread [hidden]
Not really, I met with a friend irl who had very small nails. We talked about them being alien nails and they are "sus". And I carried the joke to here. It's not a meaningful statement.

Then they should be aware of what they're typing before they send it. Macca's pretty smart and I figure that they do reread their posts.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 11:45 pmthis is completely untrue. and if anything this is the reason why scum mess up most often. alot of players hit submit without rereading. and it bites them in the ass as scum. not everyone is careful. this has never been true.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 2:20 pmScum players are always (or should always be) self-aware of what their posts look like.brainbomb wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 2:15 pm

Ghug, you’ve sort of flippantly called brain, kgray and Chaqa scum. I don’t get the impression you actually think any of them ARE scum... but you haven’t called anyone else scum, other than sheeping Vecna onto Maniac... which also strikes me as unserious.
Is there anyone you seriously think might be scum at this point?

You can't use the thing I said about how scum should be careful what they post to pass off an careless comment. Major scumpoints for that.yavuzovic wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 12:08 amI don't know why you think it's scummy to react to an old post. I'm sorry for being confusing.Maniac wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 10:23 pmThinking out loud.
Small nails = Brad, is this a reference to Brad Pitt? What is Brad Pitt famous for? Thelma and Louise, Oceans 11, Friends (scum buddies) Bradgelina. Oh Bradgelina is a portmanteau as is werewolf so Small Nails is code for werewolf. OK but why use this code. Is it a crumb? It will have some significance before the game ends.
Also foodcoats isn't scum, or if he is I'm going to give up playing.

No sorry small nails have no secret meaning, neither the codes.
