There is a grain of truth in here, but at some level you're just buttering me up with niceties. I was wrong on Bozo last game and it led me to suspect a lot of townies.

Delaying until EoN is bad because there are 21 people in this game and we need to develop consensus on information sharing well in advance of when they start dying if we want to ensure that we do it.

Revealing which scum roles aren't in the game is clearly valuable to town, but we don't even need a specific use for information up front for it to be worth sharing. Town is the least informed faction, and the only reason to deny us more information as a townie is if that information will help the other factions find our PRs, which this will not do.

We've talked the claim/anti-claim out a lot (of those of us who actually have been posting) and there is a difference of opinion at a base level between the two schools of thought.

I ain't got much more at the moment. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Mechs is my thing.

What are your points? Who has agreed? If there's a reason, lay it out for me. If there isn't, tell the world so we can move on.

The reason is, I didn't pitch a goon. So I want to know everyone else who didn't pitch a goon first. This locks them in as claiming something.

I pitched a powered non-town role (not necessarily a good one--oh, didn't jasnah claim she pitched the mafia lover?) I'd rather not let mafia/aliens/SK know which one until later. Why not let them sweat. Town isn't going to have anything to do based on which role I pitched, but could easily change a scum team's calculus.
