The way I see the current gamestate:

Jamiet is either the last scum or 3P. He's been hiding behind itemclaims all game long, and its prevented us from killing him twice now. I honestly dont really care what he has to say, since its not going to be in our best interest, but his.

In the absolute worst case scenario, 3P has 5/6 items (I think this is possible by now, right?) but is still chasing after the doc item. Worst case scenario, Jamiet doesnt flip 3P, but then the actual 3P still has to take like a 1/7 gamble on who has the item he's guessing for. Killing jamiet can never result in the 3P getting all his items. It can result in us either eliminating mafia and their NK/rb, or we just win outright by nabbing the 3P.

Lets just get this over with

No actually there is a reason, or there MAY be.

When you think about why Jamie claimed a bunch of items, he never does that as 3P. But he can do it as town or scum.

The thing is, as you and others have pointed out, the greatest threat to town is now 3P. There are 8 town alive!!! We don’t need to care about scum right now. So even if Jamie is scum, we still want to find the 3P instead.

I guess there’s a world where Jamie makes this claim because he has accumulated enough items that he wants to try to get one more night to make a steal, but I don’t buy it. Did 3P!Jamie argue up and down on D2 that ghug was 3P for fakeclaiming chicken when he was in fact 3P? I don’t see any 3P coming out talking 3P tactics D2.

Anyway it’s not necessarily Vecna obviously but this Jamie thing is not open and shut and I think it is way, way more likely Jamie is scum or town and therefore not a good kill.

But I’ll shut up and wait for what Jamie has to say. Just don’t hammer, that’s idiotic for town, game is very very favourable to us but not won yet.

Ah, this is a good point! Jamie did say he gave the chicken away but if that can’t be confirmed that would be a big red flag.

The way that slot had moved around, there might not have been a steal attempt when tracked by HB. lfischl could have received the fruit vendor item from Bonatogether D1. lfischl could also have started with the gun and picked up the commute item from ghug by shooting him, and kgray could be close to winning as 3P.

I mean I’m not 3P, but also N3 is the most likely night my slot would have been active since it was brain.
