BunnyGo's initial response to Brainbomb's little Vengeful poll, his evasiveness when questioned about it, and then his U-turn and back-tracking, look pretty scummy to me.

as town cop I identified multiple scum day 1, and that wasnt why I got maf nkd. xorxes decided I was obvious PR. but in addition to being obvious, having never been cop, I also had decent reads.

I never asked who you were scanning last game. Was it one of us?

Also, I didn't think you were obvious, but that there was a reasonable chance you might be PR. Other considerations were that you were widely townread and very unlikely to be watched. That last one was the main consideration for all our kills.

if town decides to keep a joke phase going 20 pages
scum has to decide to get too serious or join the joking

if town gets ultra serious early scum has to either blend in by looking serious in a muted way or lurk like crazy to let ultra serious cannibalization grab hold

if town lurks then scum can lurk and its a quiet game with low energy which favors scum

if town all has their own ego and arrogant ideas about accuracy
scum can just latch onto the dumbest blockheads and kill anyone smart

The only issue with this logic is that not all town players play the same way, and not all scum players play the same way. Giving scum any indication of how the collective town is going to play gives them a chance to analyze how they should play to blend in. Allowing people to bring in their own personalities, or, in your words, "arrogant ideas" forces scum players to try and be themselves, which presents a challenge of its own.

I think he's slightly defensive, missed joke(s), has a habit of picking up on opinions on himself above all else, and is probably slightly influenced by what happened last game. Can't really put it as indicative of anything at the moment though, but it will probably be in future.

most people on here play town and hope they get lucky and hit scum.

thats what theyve decided is their style of play. so you either have to be so eximpliry and accurate that other town follow you, or you just have to watch and hope theres a shred of intellect in 1 towny who eats the nk because their reads rock.

of course then the town usually ignores nk analysis too.

so basically we gotta hope someone very eloquent takes the reigns. last game it never happened

The problem is people are waiting for someone to take the reigns instead of actively trying to paint a case.

Here is one for you: I find it odd that rdr has indicated he has read the thread, dismissed all the content up until a xorxes comment about himself, and then went into Bunny and most posts on others were related to Bunny. Almost all of his posts are continued questions, similar to what kgray did last game.

This strikes me as more unusual than anything else. Do others agree?
