I am road tripping across Wyoming and feel like I’ve done a lot more than I should be for someone supposedly on vacation already. Even if I weren’t, posting 150+ times a day as I used to does not do good things for my sanity so don’t expect online-all-the-time dedication from me in mafia games going forward regardless of my schedule. I’m not playing in a way that burns me out so badly anymore.

This sort of answers my question but really addresses a bunch of baggage that you have re: other people's expectations but it does clearly set a good boundary and I'll help you maintain that boundary

I should have been more clear I was mostly asking "hey during the 48 hours that will be D3, if you think you'll have a free hour around X time, I would love to be online while you're online so that you can have someone help find info/quotes/etc for you at older points in the thread, since catching up would be impossible".

Anyway.

It’s less about others’ expectations and more that I have accepted people don’t follow me around so posting less and saying less when I do post without really changing my approach internally doesn’t lessen my effectiveness.

I have no idea when I’ll be online. I’m still working while out here so I have to retain cell service during the workday but I’m not making a schedule for mafia.

Yeah, I've noticed that. And, since snowy replaced Byz, snowy wasn't a recipient of the same end-vote treatment. So something shifted between group perceptions.

In my opinion snowy put in a lot of effort to distance himself from suspicion and the main criticism of Byz was that he didn’t really know how to do that. When Byz was under suspicion he generally made it worse with his tepid responses.

What makes you describe them as tepid?

You are not notified if your nametag is swapped, no.

You may "peek" at whatever nametag you are currently wearing, just once per game.

Okay so, Pyx is saying definitively that Drag's nametag is swapped with whoever killed him.

However, there's an order of operations (which I had to be corrected on)
Bus driver
Cop scan
Florist visit
Mafia Kill
Doctor heal

We know that drag was florist, I was trying to remind Pyx that we couldn't be 100% certain if his killer has his nametag.

Its a reasonable assumption to make, but without confirmation of any kind, we can't be completely sure. There seems to have been a bit of an element here in which most of us didn't read the setup too carefully.

Thanks Rumi. I don't think the nametag this is of too much value to me coming into the game at this point. It's a nothing burger as far as I am concerned. I think it was Chaqa or Eden who suggested it could be a thing of importance as the game goes on.

:shrug: Definitely not a fan of funny mechanics.
