It's not really a specific subject I want you to comment on - I'm just concerned that I don't really have any reads almost a full two days into the game because the game has been so dead, and I think that active town in this situation should be proactively trying to get increased activity. Do you agree with that take?

Kakarroto/Damo/Durga have all vaguely been around without really proactively contributing anything, which is suboptimal town play at best.

I honestly think D1 is usually a popularity contest and we just don't have much info. There is some exceptions, when scum make an obvious mistake or act extremely awkward but the regular D1 is just a joke phase followed by wagons driven by personal likes or dislikes or how active people are.

Things might've just changed since I last played here, but I remember town at least getting its shit together in the second half of D1 that it doesn't feel like most of us have this game.

I don't think it's defeatism.
We just have meta and tone to work with D1, and most people can fake well both. Sometimes we got lucky and catch something. And D1 is always good to generate info for later.

Keep in mind we're at the time phase where votes actually become serious, please

I'm not deeply opposed to removing either of our non-players, but I imagine people will get cold feet there if they don't come back. Of the remainder, I think Jamie's least likely to do anything useful for town.

I don't like this personal thing you have with Jamiet, but it's your choice. I would target a lurker any time instead of Jamiet. Lurkers are hard to sort and even if town an easy miskill target later in the game.

I'm happy killing fishy or uber as well, to be clear.

What did Ghug other then joking and wanting to kill Jamiet?

I think Ghug is capable of doing this as any alignment and I usually have problems sorting him.
