@teacon
This is an odd game, yes? Only scum know the exact roll.

You accuse me (jokingly, it seemed) of softing a particular PR. A rather silly one.

I didn't understand your accusation at first. I thought, "fruit doesn't grow in Greenland." Pretty stretched, if that is what you meant.

So I countered with an Andre the Giant thing... which is what I meant in the first place.

But then I thought some more about it. You referred to a scene in "The Princess Bride." Where the know-it-all brains of the bad guys yells at Andre... and says he had been unemployed in Greenland.

So... that guy is Italian. Thus the Italian fruit vendor thing, right?

Is that what you meant?

So what I was hoping with some pre-shift change votes would be, if most people had done it, it might have given us some MUCH LATER info... because that early, I wouldn't expect scum to drop a meaningless vote bussing.

Also, I think that non-participation (because scum would be less likely to drop a meaningless vote that would later be misinterpreted) might be AI.

I now have some small amount of sympathy for bozo and his schemes.
So you learnt nothing?

Interesting, I'd expect the opposite - that scum would be more likely to distance themselves from their teammates with meaningless votes that they can easily change before it really matters.

The Jamie attempts
An awkward townslip. Alas
Nobody buys it
ok, the game is ruined again now

ghug literally scumslipped. jamiet used the bcc shit to townclear him

%%call gm can you confirm whether scum received that exact same PM? Because else you can restart the game and not fuck that shit up
Vecna wrote:

funny part is the gm probably included the exact bcc line for the scum pm, but whatever, having even a situation where that becomes the main discussion point does not make for a fun game of mafia
1) maniac: If maniac had read the PM (and/or the setup), he would know that it wasn't a role PM. If he hadn't, he wouldn't know what to call it, and fall back on the default term "role pm". Since Maniac just got elected to parliament, I'm guessing he didn't have time to read either of these.

2) jamie: Jamie sees it as a slip because D1 shennanigans and ridiculous scrutiny is pretty consistient with jamie.

3) alchohol-ghug calls jamie's nitpicking an artificial townslip. Seems consistent with the rest of his antagonistic tone in that time block. If scum had their pm's sent directly (not bcc'd), they might not be aware that the town-pm was bcc'd, hence this is only a slip from ghug if scum didn't get the messages bcc'd, AND ghug was really drunk enough to talk about alignment indicative mechanics that early. @scum - Can any of you confirm whether your pm's were bcc'd or sent directly?

4) Talking about PM's: not my idea of solvey (or enjoyable) play. But I don't think we need to restart unless GM's say so.
like, this post doesnt scream informed to you? I didnt even consider the fact that scum would also all receive it bcc'd iwth the exact same wording copy-pasted into the pm

##UNVOTE

At least I am somewhat more involved in this start so I don't get shit all over for casting a No Kill vote.

It's about time town did some bussing, scum normally have all the fun
Read the fucking setup.

Or we are both scum and you are really bussing me?
Kind of weird that you're reacting this way to Maniac but not to Flum, who had the same incorrect interpretation of your role.

vecna and teacon7 both look townie, although my teacon7 read was before any recruiting took place.

@bo - yep, I voted for myself last game, but what happened in toontown should stay in toontown.

Sure is
Second of all, questions should have question marks or you end up sounding like Durga.

First of all, Fluminator seems to want today to be about you vs him.

I decided to side with you and vote for him.

Does that bother you?
It bothers me that you seem to be OK with and even attempting to reinforce the idea that we should settle into me vs. Flum day one.
Disagree, this seems like the kind of thing town!Jamie would do to me. The one time I played with scum!Jamie he hung back and let things unfold without bringing much attention to himself.

When I tell people about my scum meta, I usually only include the parts I think I'm capable of improving.
