I missed that vote. What a weird vote. That IS scummy.

@Kak, why did you vote for Macca to avoid a tie rather than moving to Flum?
I encourage the people asking this question to continue making obvious that they didn't read EoD.
Don't need to read EOD if I'm scum. 8-)
More seriously, it's really, really, really obnoxious that people make this kind of criticism ("you're not reading"). There is a lot of reading to be done playing Forum Mafia and it is inevitable that things will be missed. I have read every single page, but in trying to keep up with all the material, sometimes I will not ingest and fully appreciate the import of every comment, vote, quote, etc.

And, the whole point of the game is to have a conversation, share information, illuminate, cajole, persuade, etc. So why complain that I am asking for additional clarification and discussion?

Ahem. I was present at EoD, and this is what I said to Kak at the time:

flum can't tie if no one else leaves one of them because of my macca vote
It's 9-6 currently, nowhere near a tie.

Vote Maniac tho
I purport that claiming you moved to a solo wagon to "prevent a tie", and then stayed there for the same reason when it was 9-6 and nowhere near tied, is sketchy.
Ah, so Kak was claiming he made the wagons "odd-numbered." Interesting.

Fair. I don't doubt you have been reading

What irks me is when people go to the bot or the vote count and pull a vote out of context to harp on. It's pretty easily discoverable why Kak voted as he did. If you want to push him on his purported reasoning, as Jamie's doing, fine, but a simple "why'd you do it?" is lazy.

Because if we learned that we are in the setup without a town roleblocker, then we'd have a 50/50 shot at killing scum by voting only for the two people who claimed to be RB'd.
So setup 3 or setup 5.

It's possible that scum didn't kill Dargo specifically because they didn't want to miss out on a kill if a doc save happened. If this is the case, then there's no Godfather and Journalist, which would mean ghug is a guaranteed clear.
Ooh Chaqa werewolf slipped

Good, then killing Maniac will help us to sort Damo.
This is how Jamie busses.
We should kill Ghug as well. If I'm scum he's definitely not on my team. No sir.
This is one of the most bizarre statements I saw this game.

There are obvious darg-as-cop reasons for it, but it's also what happens if darg as scum, so we have to consider that more and more likely the longer it goes on.
I wish I could find the post that suggested killing Darg if they make it past a certain night. I think they're a reasonable wagon for D4.
No. We're not considering a darg daykill until either there's a counterclaim or a janitor kill.
Why a janitor kill?

That is also fair... I went to the bot to pull up Kak's full iso AFTER I reactively asked the question, which was probably the wrong thing to do... just generating noise that does not benefit town this way.

Barring a janitor kill, we have a surefire way of sorting darg without killing him. If the real cop claims or dies, he's scum. If no such cop appears he's the cop. A cleaned kill introduces the possibility that the real cop is dead, at which point we have to at least consider darg as an option.

It's not "don't kill" vs. "do kill". It's "don't consider killing" vs. "consider killing".

I assume because I didn't mention the possibility ghug could be a scanned WW, but i just don't get WW vibes from him, and I've been pretty sure WW is either Maniac or you (Jamie).

to be clear... if there is one RB or no RB, we would be in set up 3.
Why 3 and not 5?
Obviously because darg is doc and someone else is cop.

So, spoiler, I think Chaqa as werewolf is actually less likely to make this "slip". This response, however, is godawful. It reminds me of when scum Chaqa colored an unflipped player green (i.e. town) in a vote count by accident and then claimed he intended it because the townread was so strong instead of just saying he fucked up.
